25.01.2022 Well, after at least 5 years of wishing, trying, planning and working towards it, we have finally been able to create the pilot of our program of inclusion for community members living with disabilties to get training and actual jobs within the live production industry. The update to this video is that Allycia, our very first trainee has worked TWO paid shifts as a Jam Factory crew member on an actual live production back stage. Shes 23 years old. This is her first ever paid... job. More to come! Special thanks to Majestic Cinemas and Event Centre for their unbelievable support (we no longer need a shipping container - we have a whole professional theatre & stage!). 23.01.2022 Having been incredibly fortunate enough to have so many A-List and legendary artists & shows in our 40+ year Jam Factory resume, not to mention being friends with many of the same, we rarely get dizzy and all star struck these days. But it has to be said that yesterday is one of those peak career moments when one must pinch oneself. Whilst, just the honour of meeting Mr Louie Shelton was huge enough but having worked with him recently and subsequently being invited to hang o...ut in his home studio - where production managers and audio engineers such as yours truly get to witness and touch equipment & instruments that have crafted major hits for Michael Jackson, Barbera Streisand, Lionel Richie (I touched THAT guitar!), The Monkeys and the list goes on and on and on ... - One can only dizzily say WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then to be complimented on our work by such a stratospheric icon of our industry ... OMG!!!!!!!!!!! (Pinch, pinch, pinch!) And now, watch this space for possible new exciting news as a result. 22.01.2022 We are SOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly proud of our trainee, Tayler. She is one of The Jam Factory's greatest training success stories. Tayler joined us straight out of Uni as a trainee Stage Manager in major professional theatre. Now she is gaining live experience plus globally recognised qualifications at our expense. Soon she will be sent on secondment to a major named theatre for work experience there. Tayler is remarked as being one of the hardest working most dedicated fastest ...learning trainees we have ever had. The whole crew love working with her and the clients are in awe of her. Our Senior Team have come to rely heavily on her and from our collective industry perspectives we see Tayler has having a huge future in the production world. Already Tayler is gaining a reputation in the wider industry. (We're kinda worried someone will steal her from us!) At only 22 this young professional has done her parents proud. 14.01.2022 Hugely successful show. Bigger than Ben Hur and epic. Full house totally sold out. Full Jam Factory production. Tommy Emmanuel, the Phil Emmanuel Band, Legend Louie Shelton (as in Award winning Guitarist/Composer for John Lennon, Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richies Hello solo, The Monkeys and way too many more to mention), Phil Manning, Robbie Bostock, Hussy Hicks (keep an eye out for them!) and Country Legend Chad Morgan. This was all live streamed to other venues... in Australia and to many individuals around the world. So so sooooo mega proud of our Jam Factory Crew, Pete, Dave, Dan, Tayler and Sol who all worked tirelessly all day and all night for weeks to get this show planned, prepared and rockin the Sunshine Coast. And what a light show thanks to Dave and Dan! Thank you guys so much. You ROCK!

10.01.2022 Hanging out back stage with Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows last night. Was great to catch up with Joe and Claude again. Good show. The boys are as tight as ever. Pete did his usual awesome job FOH and Phil was pretty cool with monitors, LS9 layered FOH & F/B, Pete on his touch screen laptop out front, using studio level software (for much more detailed control). Pete was super cool in inviting me to sit next to him during the show and he kindly shared some of his techniques with me as he worked. Nice! We share some common philosophies and ideas on approaching live work. That room has its dynamics challenges and Pete was right onto it. True pro. :)

08.01.2022 Sep 15 (13 days ago) Dear John, On behalf of The Pyjama Foundation, I just wanted to say THANK-YOU for your incredibly hard work in helping us put together our gala and for organising our sound so it ran seamlessly. You came in to set up early and finished late into the night, and we couldnt appreciate that enough.... And thank you once again for triple checking with me throughout the night and for being patient!! Even though we ended up running overtime and lagged with our runsheet; you managed to chase me up and check when the band should play and continued to stay cool, calm and collected.
