To give back to the Doctor’s,Surgeons, Nurses and all medical staff that gave me a second chance at life was so rewarding but to do this with my wife who has been through this by my side all the way made my experience even greater.

18.01.2022 Every two years the Rural Crime Prevention Team (RCPT) attend a Nationally Accredited training course. This course is a combination of lectures at the Police A...cademy and 3 days at a rural farm completing hands on training. Law Enforcement officers from Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria were also present during this years training. We would like to extend a massive thank you to the guest speakers from Department of Primary Industries, Meat & Livestock Australia, Allflex and Local Land Services. The RCPT would also like to thank Commissioner FULLER, Deputy Commissioner CASSAR and Assistant Commissioner McKECHNIE for attending the training. During the dinner on Day One, our team received an inspirational talk from Jamie and Karen MANNING. The courage, humour, determination and motivation these two wonderful people provided the group was amazing. Thank you Karen and Jamie. Assistant Commissioner McKECHNIE presented the 2019 Rural Crime Investigation award. Congratulations to Detective Senior Constable Rebecca PEACHEY and Detective Senior Constable Graeme CAMPBELL. This is a well deserved acknowledgement of a great investigation and a great result against offenders committing rural trespass, illegal hunting and theft.

01.01.2022 I feel honored people want to tell my story and that it may inspire some to embrace the life they have now. See every day for what it is, an opportunity to accomplish a goal, help another person or just live life to the fullest. There is no guarantee that there will be a tomorrow.
