25.01.2022 Well, it's that time of year again... can you believe it? You can imagine the surprise of beachgoers when Santa popped in for a visit this morning!! He sees you when you're sleeping, ... he knows when you're awake. He knows where you've been catchin' waves So he dropped in to say g'day... Not long now kids until the big Man in red visits your house... I hope you've all been good. I'd love to wish all of my wonderful Customers a very Merry Christmas and the healthiest and prosperous New Year. A big shout out must also go to those regular Customers who supported me and kept me afloat during the Lockdown. It certainly was a tough time, and if it weren't for the small handful of lovely souls who came religiously to the van, I truly could not have sustained coming to the beach each day. So a heartfelt thanks and all of my gratitude goes out to you all. To everyone travelling during the festive season, please stay safe on the roads and come back to us safe and sound. A very Jammin' Christmas to you all!!

19.01.2022 Hello everyone! The coffee van will not be at the beach tomorrow, as I will be at the Gooburrum State School Sports Day, serving coffee to all of the Parents and Teachers. I will be back at the beach on Friday, as usual. ... Have a wonderful day!!

19.01.2022 Great news for my wonderful regular Customers!! The tape will come down this weekend and the shaded seating areas will be back open for use!! Of course, we must not be complacent and still need to obey the guidelines, which are listed in the attached article.... I know many of my Customers will be very excited to have the use of the shaded seating areas again! Here's hoping that this is the first step to us gaining a little more freedom of movement in the future. I would like to take this time to give my heartfelt thanks to those of my Customers who have supported me through the toughest time my business has experienced, to date. I look forward to seeing many of you return to the beach soon, to enjoy your cuppa and the beautiful views that we are so lucky to call our own.

09.01.2022 Good morning!! Well, it looks like it will be a wet and very cold day today! After looking at the rain radar, I have made the decision to stay home today. Business has been quite slow these past couple of months and I don't think this weather will encourage anyone down today for a cuppa!! ... There's no point us all going out and catching a chill unnecessarily, is there! If for some reason the rain breaks up this morning, then I will head down to the beach for an hour or two. But at this stage, I say we all stay nice and warm at home and enjoy a day indoors!! Stay dry and warm everyone!! See you tomorrow!

At this meeting, the Master Plan for the Moore Park Beach foreshore will be presented by Council. This is a great opportunity for you to come along and see what our Community, as a collective, have envisioned for our beautiful beachside. ... I hope to see many of you there, showing your support!

08.01.2022 Hello Everyone and what a ripper of a weekend it has been! It's great seeing the beach back to its busy self again, with locals and visitors enjoying our shores and laid back atmosphere. It's hard to believe that I have been serving coffees to our Community for 4 and a half years now... My how time flies when you're having the time of your life.... What started as an idea to provide a much needed service to the Community, has grown into a business that I am so extremely proud of. I have made so many amazing friends throughout this journey, and have had the most amazing conversations with people visiting from all over the World. Man, my Customers rock! My little coffee van has served it's fair share of coffees over the years... But the ole' girl is starting to show her age now. Fine lines and rust wrinkles are more prominent these days and she just doesn't have the 'go' in her that she used to. I reckon it's time to give her a bit of a rest... So, in true Daughter style, I sweet talked my Dad and he agreed to BUILD ME A NEW VAN!! Whaaat?? For the past couple of months, Dad has been spending what little spare time he has, working on my new rig. We started with a blank canvas, and slowly but surely, Dad has designed the perfect foundation for a new and improved Jammin' Coffee Van. I am super stoked! He has spent a lot of sleepless nights designing from scratch (and then pulling apart and redesigning) the van in his head. . He really is a genius and his perfectionist ways means his work is always top quality. He has battled the Moore Park Beach windy days in his open air workshop which has often caused delays... I have quickly learnt that not every day is a welding day when you live on the coast! But he has been working hard and we are now at the stage where the Chassis is almost complete. It will be ready for Hot Gal Dipping in the next couple of weeks.... ensuring that this new beauty will not age as quickly as my current little lady! How exciting!! For someone who doesn't drink coffee, he's a pretty awesome fella, right? Hands up who has the best damn Daddy in the World... Many of my regular Customers have been asking about how the new van is coming along. The answer is usually slowly but surely... But I thought I would start putting updates on my page so you can all follow along and see the progress we are making. (Notice how I said we...... I haven't done anything yet!) I look forward to rocking up to the beach in the very near future in my NEW pimped out rig, with music a blarin' and a brand new vibe to call my own! I'll drink to that!

02.01.2022 Happy Saturday!! Just a reminder that the Community Consultation is currently taking place down here at the beach. If you are interested in giving your opinions on the proposed Master Plan for our beautiful beachfront, head on down before 11am to speak with our Councillor, Jason Bartels, and the Planning Team.... 02.01.2022 NEW COFFEE VAN UPDATE # 2 Well, today was spent doing the final prep work for the next stage of the process!! Tomorrow, the chassis goes in to be hot gal dipped, in preparation for a lifetime spent by the sea side and salty air. Unlike the current van, there will be no rust on this new one!! ... Dad completed the last of the welding and grinding today, while I drilled the holes that are needed for the hot gal work to be successful. Yep, you heard right.... I was allowed on the tools today!! I even busted a plugga in the process.... Surely that's an indication of how hard I worked, right?? But seriously, check out my technique... Nailed it!! After the work was complete, my Husband Chris rigged up the chassis, and we lifted it onto the trailer for the trip into Bundy to be dipped. Again, I was allowed to get hands-on and operated the Dingo to make the lifting process easier! Are you impressed yet?? . Dad lifted one end with pure strength, I lifted the other with the Dingo, and Chris reversed the trailer straight under it. Easy done! So now, the new van is loaded and ready to go in the morning.... Oh, and see the trailer it is sitting on? Dad built that trailer 35 years ago, and it's still going strong! This new van is in the safest of hands!!
