25.01.2022 Teen Retreat - day 4. Divine Liturgy was served for the feast of St Nicholas where all participants partook of the Mystery of Holy Communion. An afternoon of fun filled with activities such as bubble soccer, basketball, table tennis, swiming and arm wrestling. The evening Q&A saw topics addressed such as, chastity, Old Belivers & playing cards.

23.01.2022 For the teenagers still on facebook... We can't have the Russian Orthodox Church Teen Retreat this year unfortunately! But we can still meet up online and have a chat and renew old friendships. Start to make plans for next year. And a few surprises too! 22.01.2022 Teen Retreat - day 5 commenced with a talk by Fr George on 'Secular pressure and the Orthodox response' and the final talk was presented by Nektary Kotlaroff on challenges commonly faced in teenage years. The youth managed to fit in a swim at the beach before the rain set in. The day concluded with a Talent Quest.

11.01.2022 Teen Retreat - day 3 consisted of 3 workshops on the following topics: 'Confession' by Fr George, 'Passions' by Mother Christina and 'Boundaries' by Nadia Crittenden. In the afternoon the participants had some free time then prayers for Holy Communion were read and confessions heard. Following dinner Matins was served to the feast of St Nicholas.

08.01.2022 Teen Retreat 2018 - day one commenced with registration, dinner and the greeting of the Kursk icon of the Mother of God. Following the moleben to the most Holy Theotokos, Bishop George presented a talk on the history of the icon. Helen Alalikin did a fabulous job with the icebreaker games. The day concluded with evening prayers and all participants had the opportunity to venerate the holy icon.

03.01.2022 Teen Retreat 2018 - day 2 commenced with the challenge of waking up the Teens for the morning prayers. Following breakfast, Fr Andrew Smith presented a talk / workshop on 'A Guide to the Spiritual Life'. After a short break, Fr Bill Konstantinidis gave a talk on 'Prayer'. The afternoon was spent on the beach cooling off and in the evening George Vasilevsky and Serge Smirnoff talked on the importance of preserving your faith. The day concluded with a Q&A session and evening prayers.
