24.01.2022 The Survivors, coming to a TV screen near you! I’m excited to be able to share that I’ve sold the rights for The Survivors to be developed into a major TV series. A deal’s been struck after a pre-empt offer emerged that I think is a fantastic opportunity for the book. Other key parties involved wish to stay incognito for the time being, so I’ll leave others to make their own announcements in their own time, but I feel very confident the book is in excellent hands and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s to come. Adaptations notoriously can take years in the making, so if you can’t wait that long, fortunately the book comes out in Australia tomorrow!

23.01.2022 The full trailer is here! #TheDryMovie out Jan 1 in Australia! International release dates TBC. Cannot wait.

03.01.2022 In an alternate universe, today was the day the The Dry movie was due to hit screens. The pandemic means the release has been postponed with a new date still to be confirmed, but trust me, it is absolutely worth the wait. I got to see the finished film earlier this year, and it’s superb. It’s such a great adaptation in that it celebrates the spirit and characters of The Dry and remains faithful to the story, while still being a fantastic movie in its own right. I loved it a...nd I know readers will too. My huge thanks go to producers Made Up Stories and director and screenwriter Robert Connolly who has been such a driving force behind this beautiful adaptation. The entire cast is outstanding. Genevieve O’Reilly is perfect as Gretchen and I simply couldn’t have asked for a better Aaron Falk than Eric Bana. He has brought the role to life on screen in an incredible way, and has really captured the heart and soul of a character that means a lot to me. Although I’m a little sad the film hasn’t been able to come out today as planned, it’s exciting to know that the movie is ready and waiting and fantastic when the time is right. I wanted to share a few flashback photos in the meantime, and for now, it’s something to add to the ‘looking forward to’ list. See more
