By alcohol, fatigue, difficult conversations, unfulfilled expectations of self and others... sometimes it can get us down.... we can easily forget about all the things that lift us up. Stop for a minute and check your perception. Unravel the complexity of whats overtaking your emotions and do this exercise. Try it!

21.01.2022 You may have not noticed, but Ive been a bit absent from the page lately. This is because Ive been drawn back into the nursing world. You may know Im also a Registered Nurse. Given the recent pandemic its been a bit of a crazy time to be a nurse. To top that off, Ive moved interstate. Its the most bizarre feeling being locked out of your home state. I know Im not alone, feeling isolated but hows your anxiety? Next level, or same same? Ive been too busy to scratch mys...elf, but I do know Im a bit different now Im in a global pandemic! Not all of us can donate but we can take action to show we care for our animal friends by leaving out water, filtering your own tap water instead of relying on spring (bought) water, or planting a tree, mulching your garden or consuming less. 16.01.2022 I used to dread going to work. Caught up in a system that didn’t fit my values or who I am, I was a square peg in a round hole. The fatigue I woke with everyday was overwhelming. 11.01.2022 I know this is as controversial as the border situation but here we are! The Vegan diet is trendy but definitely not something your health and well being can handle for too long. Nutrient deficiencies affect your energy levels but most of all what I would see is nervous system dysfunction. If you cant get past eating meat, I highly recommend seeing a Naturopath or Nutritionist for an assessment. You might be surprised how a few diet changes and supplements can improve you...r outlook! 10.01.2022 As I took in the view outside I stopped to finally exhale. It felt good. This year has certainly been one turmoil after the other for many of us, but moving interstate 1 month before the pandemic meant chaos for both my son and I. Who would’ve dreamed of being locked out of your home state, unable to connect with friends and family? I’m not sure about your 2020, but I’m guessing stress has played a starring role in your life!... Did you know stress alone can cause hormone imbalance and immune dysregulation? It’s been the perfect storm for pushing our boundaries and inviting in *insomnia *mood swings *cravings *weight gain - hello muffin top! *PMS *anxiety *muscle aches *muscle weakness And not to mention - it invited in your bodies own weaknesses to come play - hello hayfever I know, I’ve been there! It’s not fun! The good news is that to celebrate my return home I’m going to share all my tips you can implement yourself to help you get back some balance!
