25.01.2022 These could be helpful for sensory issues. Again this is not a promotion and all care should be taken if wish to purchase. https://edition.cnn.com//vans-autism-awareness/index.html

22.01.2022 With summer now on us, well almost, we are often reminded of the importance in our country of everyones ability to swim. I have just become aware of Autism Swim who maybe able to assist you or your child to learn to swim. As always I am passing on this information and this is not a recommendation it is up to you do to your research on the suitability of this program for you. Having said that it would be great if anyone has some feed back or can suggest other organisations.

21.01.2022 This is a wonderful idea for those of you who need to travel. I think they can actually be purchased as a kit but I think its mostly aimed for Americans. Perhaps for those of you arty and crafty folks you could make your own.

21.01.2022 Its wonderful to see shopping centres recognising the needs of children with autism who want to meet santa.

21.01.2022 While I dont want to appear that I am promoting a particular company, the move to having low sensory shopping hours is great for people with Autism who often have issues with loud music and bright lights in stores. Lets hope more stores become aware of the needs of those with sensory issues.

21.01.2022 This sound like a great opportunity for any children you know who might like to try soccer or as my husband calls it football!

15.01.2022 This is wonderful to see theme parks training their staff to understand the needs of their customers with Autism. In this case a young boy after a long wait and to finally get to the front of the line and be told sorry the ride has stopped working. The response from the staff member is wonderfull. I wonder if the Australian theme parks do the same? #wetnwildgc #movieworldaus Dreamworld Australia

13.01.2022 Its great to see a group set up to support girls with Autism.

12.01.2022 What a wonderful program, no child should be excluded from the opportunity of playing sport.

06.01.2022 Many people may have seen reports this morning about the link between c-sections and autism. Unfortunately, it seems the reports are picking through the research without taking into consideration all the information provided. Zhang, a PhD student at Karolinska, emphasized in an email that "our study does not provide irrefutable proof that C-sections CAUSE neuropsychiatric disorders." For example, "C-section is often recommended by obstetricians if the mother has diseases such... as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Some of the diseases might already have an effect on a childs brain development when he or she is still in the womb," the author said. A combination of factors may contribute to the risk, so "it would therefore be wrong to demonize C-sections. C-sections should continue to be used when medically necessary." I would like to caution everyone from looking at this research into C-sections as being the cause of autism as always, the media look for a lazy headline, while the reality is much more complex.

05.01.2022 Ok, so I know that I am on holidays but I saw this and just wanted to share. Its so wonderful that businesses are starting to recognise the needs of people with Autism.
