24.01.2022 When your mum is at work and Nanna is looking after you because there are weird building noises in the back bit of the house. Sometimes you need to get one of mummy's shoes to hold. Not chew or bite. Just hold and sniff.

23.01.2022 Jessy and I had a lovely relaxed stroll today. She's a bit slower getting around than when I first met her (and her human) as young dog in a training class I ran over 10 years ago. Her mum is sick in hospital so her Aunty Deb and I are looking after her until mum gets home. Get well soon Kimbo.

21.01.2022 Hello Dear Pet Nanna people. I have been in a quandary about what to do during the current Covid-19 health crisis. I want to make sure I do what is the most sensible thing to keep you, your families and myself as safe as possible. A large part of my role involves entering people’s homes to collect and/or care for animals. Even with increased hygiene standards this carries a risk of me taking any infection from one house to another. So as reluctant as I am I think that the b...est option is to suspend Pet Nanna activities until the crisis has subsided. I will be, contacting active clients, individually, via text, over the next few days, I will still be available to talk on the phone about any issues with your pets so feel free to contact me if you want to talk about pet stuff. And importantly any pictures of your pets you would like to post on the page would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Sorry but this Nanna is now self isolating. Please stay safe. See more

21.01.2022 I came across this little fella out walking today. Just a little reminder that the reptiles are out and about. That does not just mean lizzards it means SNAKES. The numbers of dogs (and cats) bitten by snakes in Canberra is high at this time of year! Please be on the look out while you're out walking. Protect your animals from being bitten AND protect the wildlife from your pet.

21.01.2022 Fact: Christmas is a time to spend as much time as possible with dogs. Merry Christmas from Robbie, Ellie, Squeak and I.

19.01.2022 The Burmese Kitten committee has voted that there will be no sitting on the lounge playing Sudoku by humans! Any available human body space and attention shall be used exclusively for the adoration of cats. No correspondence shall be entered into.

17.01.2022 I am heartbroken at the news that Barney the most amazing, beautiful, gentle soul left us yesterday. He was the clumsiest geekiest most gorgeous puppy and matured into the clumsiest geekiest most gorgeous gentleman of a dog. All my love to Shannon, Karl, Molly and Gus.

16.01.2022 This is Elsa. Her hobbies are sniffing, chasing and chewing her tennis ball, going for walks, eating kangaroo poo, tail wagging and getting pats.

16.01.2022 Hello I'm Theo. I like standing on tables to help the human get my harness on, giving people big cuddles and kisses on the face, pretending to be a lap dog, and going for drives in the car. But my favourite ever all time fun thing to do is chewing stuff, mostly my lead, good thing I am also really good at being cute.

13.01.2022 One of the nicest sounds ever. Getting a drink of water after my walk with Boo. There was a rhythmic taping sound. This is what it was.

11.01.2022 Hi all, It's been awhile hope everyone is keeping well. I have been tentatively re entering the world after the covid shutdown sadly it is not over yet. I am often approached to advise on dog behaviour issues. And sometimes the best thing for the dog and owner is to find the dog a new home. This is usual very difficult for owners who love their dogs but sadly sometimes re homing is unavoidable. So meet Bear! He is a 6 year old Husky x Labrador. He is in excellent health, fu...lly vaccinated and desexed. His owner says "We love him so much and is a real smooch. Loves cuddles and pats. Very obedient and smart." Bear can not be re homed with children as he has bitten a 5 year old in the home. The owners don't want pass their problem on to someone else but can't keep him. So if there is someone who is looking for a smart loving dog, doesn't have kids and doesn't mind working on some issues with him get in touch and I'll put you in contact with the current owners. Stay safe See more

11.01.2022 It is seriously hard to choose which photos of the adorable Ruby to post. I have just had the absolute pleasure of looking after her for a week while her humans were away. Such a clever cheeky funny pup.

11.01.2022 I have met Archie and I think he is an absolute sweetheart. If you are interested in getting a dog think about an ARF rescue dog. https://www.facebook.com/263956676381/posts/10157605061406382/

09.01.2022 This is Mr Pippy on his walk yesterday. It is VERY hard to get an in focus photo of Pippystar doing anything but sniffing! He is such a squirmy excited boy when I pick him up. He runs to get toys and squeals with excitement. (No Terri Francis he never jumps on me.."cough" umm...well even if he does that's between him and me!) Once we are out his nose rarely leaves the ground. He is joy on legs

07.01.2022 Ruby the Kelpie has a game that she just looooves when we are out playing fetch. She puts the ball down and then finds somewhere to hide. I'm assuming it is so she can pounce on the ball without it seeing her but I'm not sure.

06.01.2022 This is me (Bruno) and my dumb brother (Percy) watching TV with Pet Nanna Janet. Well she was watching the TV I was trying to tell her how irritating Percy is. He is ok I guess but you know how little brothers are. I don't get all the attention like I used to before he came along.

06.01.2022 Just some info for you all. Hope everyone is staying well. I must say the hardest part of this for me is not seeing all my (well I know they are not mine exactly) fur babies! Big pats to them all!

03.01.2022 More brotherly love. Oscar makes an awesome pillow!

02.01.2022 The last few months have been a difficult time for many and the fire season is not over yet. So please take care! When things are tough I think a couple of cute pet photos can help. Well I'm sure they can't hurt These are a series of photos I took last year of the fabulous Bertie and his gorgeous (calmer) older brother Blaze. Sometimes it's really really really hard to sit still when it's nearly dinner time!
