22.01.2022 Stamp duty savings, first home buyer grants, land tax reprieves and a $6 billion injection into the development of a build-to-rent sector are among the ways the Andrews government aims to stimulate Victoria’s property sector. In the handing down of the state budget today, the government has revealed a number of measures designed to boost the housing market. Conceding 2020 has been tough, Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas said this year’s budget is about looking after people.... It’s also about building a strong recovery and an even stronger future for our state, he continued. 20.01.2022 Seasons Greetings...I am open for business and would love a friendly chat.

19.01.2022 Styling Colour Tips - Shades that’ll Transform your Space Entirely - Soft Grey This is probably the hue I beg people to go with most if they’re tiring of white walls and are looking to dip their toe in the water. A soft grey like this on your walls is completely unisex, doesn’t overpower the eye and plays so nicely with an array of decor colours and textures. I love to match soft grey up with dusty pink bedding (as you see above), gorgeous sky blues and even rich red tones li...ke maroon. It’s a very versatile colour and it’ll get lighter and darker and different times of the day. If you’re a fan of metallics, it’ll pair very nicely with those too, and it’s made for a monochromatic colour scheme of bold blacks and crisp whites. I implore you to give soft grey a go! #realestate #janicecarins #colourtips

18.01.2022 HOW TO EMOTIONALLY PREPARE YOURSELF WHEN SELLING YOUR HOME. Selling your home can be an emotional ride, for even the toughest of hearts. And no matter the circumstances or situation, it’s hard not to consider the process as a ‘final chapter’ in your own autobiography, regardless of the exciting prospect waiting for you. For many people, their home is considered the sanctuary away from the outside world. Their escape into a space that whole-heartedly resembles them, filled w...ith memories that instantly transport them back to that exact moment. Whether it’s a first family Christmas, the arrival of a new baby, celebrations of milestone birthdays, or just long and fun summer days spent in the yard; a plethora of heart-warming stories often flood a home. Contemplating the decision to move on and sell up, regardless of the opportunity awaiting, can certainly stir up a whole range of emotions. And whilst most emotions, when positively directed, can increase productivity, drastically improve excitement, and enhance motivation, others can hinder the perfect sale. So, before you take the plunge and travel the path, let’s consider how to emotionally detach from your home prior to selling. READ MORE https://rye.eview.com.au//how-to-emotionally-prepare-your/

17.01.2022 Styling Colour Tip - Shades that’ll Transform your Space Entirely - Deep Green It’s not something you see very often, is it; but a deep green wall in a bedroom is, as the photo below shows, pretty flamin’ stellar! I love it as a new alternative to the black walls. Not that black isn’t amazing, but what a nice change it is to see a dark green being rocked with such gusto. I love the way yellow and gold tones come to life against such a dark palette. Bring in some lighter green tones and a pop of deep teal and you have a stunning bedroom that oozes moody luxury. This is quite a dominant colour, so I would apply it in a larger room, just so there’s some more space to bring in contrasting colours and some texture.

13.01.2022 Styling Colour Tips - Shades that’ll Transform your Space Entirely - Deep Blue I love a good deep blue, and if you’re a fan of a traditional coastal scheme, a classic Hamptons interior or even something a little industrial, you need to give deep blue a go. There’s a nice sense of traditional at play in a deep blue wall, and if you bring in a combination of browns, creams, whites and beiges it can still feel incredibly serene and easy on the eye. A blue wall like this allows you to bring in so many colour options in your decor. Think mustard yellows, deep reds, zesty oranges, chocolates the list goes on! #realestate #janicecairns #stylingcolourtips

08.01.2022 Are you curious about what your property is worth?

08.01.2022 ROSEBUD - THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME Rosebud was originally known as Banksia Point, Rosebud began life as a fishing community in the early 1850s. On 2 June 1855, the cargo vessel Rosebud, owned by one of the colony's best known pastoralists Edward Hobson, was washed over the large sandbars and onto the beach. The burgeoning community made off with the cargo of damask and household goods, but the wreck remained for many years as the locals slowly stripped its hull to use in the construction of houses. It became commonplace to call the area "The Rosebud" in reference to the ship, which was shortened to "Rosebud" and so the settlement got its name.

04.01.2022 Styling Colour Tip - Shades that’ll Transform your Space Entirely - Black Black is an oldie but a goody, although I’d still argue that very few of us have had the courage to actually get it up on our walls. We’ve seen a lot of it in mags and online; especially in kitchens and other spaces. I think a rich, black bedroom is a gorgeous way to bring mood and soul to a room. #realestate #forsale #sold #morningtonpeninsula
