24.01.2022 Its been a while since Ive posted anything on here, but that doesnt mean I havent been busy. Business is picking up with one to two full days a week worth of jobs booked in. This is something I am trying to increase and secure more work. Some recent jobs Ive been doing are a cylinder head and timing chain replacement on a 6 cylinder Subaru Outback, An ignition coil and new battery on an EL falcon and a cylinder head and timing belt replacement on a Holden Vectra along with other service and repair work. 24.01.2022 Heres a few photos from some recent jobs Ive done. A V6 outlander timing belt. A catch can fitted up to an MN Triton diesel to stop oil making it i I the intake manifold which causes carbon to build up from the emission control system blocking the manifold. Along with some past their prime spark plugs and brake pads on a Holden commodore.

20.01.2022 Another happy customer today with a service and an led reverse light fitted up. This vehicle has always been dealership serviced yet the handbrake came up excessively high. This was rectified along with organising new front brakes to be fitted this week, bring this family vehicle back to being 100% safe.

19.01.2022 Some brake pads replaced this morning as part of a service on a Ford Focus in Perth. Along with some drive belts that were replaced along with a timing belt kit and service on Saturday on a Mitsubishi Lancer done in Penguin. The lancer will be back for new brake pads and rotors very soon with a Ford Courier coming back in for new brake drums and a handbrake inspection.
19.01.2022 Another service done this afternoon for a customer who works odd hours making it hard to get his vehicle into a garage for a service.
19.01.2022 Another two down so far today. An engine misfire in a Kia Rio. Replaced coil pack and problem solved. Second was a bad brake pulsation in a 4x4 BT-50. New set of front brake rotors as they were unable to me machined. No more pulsation. Now to do some diagnosis on a drowned Ford Ranger.
17.01.2022 I have recently purchased a new engine crane to make those lifting jobs easier whether it be an engine replacement or even a cylinder head. 14.01.2022 Had a good day Saturday doing three services. First up was a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander V6 with an oil and filter change, new air filter and new cabin filter. Second a 2004 Ford Courier T/D with an oil filter change and valve clearance adjustment. Lastly a 1999 Nissan Patrol T/D. A decent range of vehicles done. This will be followed up with a head gasket replacement on a Subaru WRX over the next few weeks. If you need any work done give me a call to organise a price and time.

12.01.2022 Having trouble starting on these cold mornings? Do you own a diesel vehicle that is becoming hard to start now that the mornings are getting colder? This could be caused by failing glow plugs. For those that dont know, glow plugs pre-heat air fuel mixture to get it to a higher temperature to allow self combustion. So if your vehicle is hard to start, give me a call to arrange to check them out.

11.01.2022 I had a productive day today. Carrying out three services. The first on a v6 Mitsubishi Outlander. The second on a Toyota Corolla and finishing off with a service on a Ford Courier, using quality Atlantic oils in all. 11.01.2022 Things have been a bit slow the last couple of weeks due to weather. With one service out at Railton. I have a WRX out back for an engine removal and head gasket replacement. That job is waiting on some good weather to allow removal. If you do need a service give me a call. Winter is when things go unchecked and a time of year when your vehicle needs to be at its best to be safe for you and your family.

07.01.2022 Hi all. With spring here allergies are going to start flaring up quickly. To help prevent this whilst in the car it is best to replace your cabin filter. This will ensure clean fresh air making it easier to breath. Give me a call or shoot me a message on here to organise an inspection of your cars filtration system. 05.01.2022 Rear shock absorber replacement on a Ford Courier 4wd. Just by doing this it has lifted the vehicle back up almost 35mm and squared it back up through having excess weight on one side. If your 4wd or even 2wd trade ute is sagging or sitting uneven it may be a simple fix like this was.
