05.01.2022 Do you lead with trust or insecurities? Insecurities are often nestled deep within us and rise to the surface in moments of weakness. It generally stems from being unsure of something and losing trust...which often projects onto others. After all, we’re all human and we only ever see the tip of the iceberg, right?... Well the last few weeks I’ve felt challenged personally... emotionally and mentally. I’ve found myself questioning the very things I know to be true. I’ve questioned my intuitive capability, my relationships, I’ve felt pressured, under and threatened...which sadly resulted in losing connection with my vision The beautiful thing is though, you can always start over. You always have the choice to renew your energies and recommit I used to do what others would say, even if it didn’t align with my purpose or vision and its been a big lesson for me....but not being sure about something doesn’t mean you should accept every advice given OR do everything you’re told to do, right? With the collective positive energy of my tribe near & far [I have some insanely heart centered legends guiding me and making me laugh on the daily]... I’ve managed to navigate through strong emotions and insecurities with self respect, humor and openness. Trust has been restored Be accountable for your reactions. How you react and manage a situation says more about you than the challenge. Respect others always. Lead and give from your heart and remember your perception of a situation.... is only that... your perception. Stand in your truth and don’t let the behavior of others influence you. 04.01.2022 THE BAREFOOT INVESTOR (BFI) A few months back my Mum & Dad paid me a visit. With a firm gaze and bright enthusiastic smiles they handed me a book....... give this a read they said... They were raving about the BFI and the different finance strategies called out in the book... I listened and smiled. I had heard about the BFI a few times but in my mind I was thinking hmmm a finance book can’t wait But on my personal growth journey and my values of financial abundance, I was keen to upgrade my internal finance software... so I got reading!! The simple steps outlined in the book are easily implemented and can make a huge difference to anyone’s financial security. We turned the process of paying off our debts into a game of dominos..
