24.01.2022 Due to the impact COVID-19 is having on mental health and the growing concerns around social isolation I will now be offering online and telephone counselling. Feel free to inquire on the Contact page on my website for more information.

21.01.2022 For more information and contact please refer to my website www.jasmineltherapy.com

21.01.2022 If you need to find a mental health social worker, your gp will be able to suggest one to you. Alternatively, you can ask for one that you know suits your needs. To find a mental health social worker (subsidised through medicare) use the search tool on the AASW website to narrow down your preferences. Here’s my profile- now offering telephone or zoom counselling and therapy. https://www.aasw.asn.au/find-a-social-worker/search/

20.01.2022 Here's some ideas to help us look after ourselves and our families. Maybe not the pool or sleepover suggestions for a while... It is so important to stay connected to our kids and young people during this time of anxiety and unknown.

19.01.2022 Finding the balance between being alert/aware but not anxious is getting harder. Here’s a reminder of what is and isn’t worth our precious headspace.

19.01.2022 Had your daily dose of self care? Check the label to make sure the help you're getting is filling you up with the good stuff!

19.01.2022 A great social story for little ones about Coronavirus. A helpful way to chat to children about the virus using age appropriate language. || @mindheart.kids

16.01.2022 'On 11 March 2020, the Prime Minister, announced a $2.4 Billion health plan to fight COVID-19 to protect all Australians, including vulnerable groups such as the elderly, those with chronic conditions and Indigenous communities, from the coronavirus (COVID-19). o For vulnerable patients or vulnerable health practitioners, new bulk-billed items have been introduced for telehealth (video-conference attendance or telephone attendance) for GPs, specialists, consultant ...physicians, obstetricians, consultant psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, allied mental health workers and midwives;' Source: http://www.mbsonline.gov.au//news-2020-03-01-latest-news-M What does this mean for people who need support during this tough time of isolation? It is now easier than ever before to get bulk billed counselling and therapy over the phone and online with a referral from your GP (which can also be done over the phone now).

15.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/471482422908270/posts/2936850796371408/?d=n There is an increase in anxiety that many are feeling during this time. Be sure to look out for each other and check in on those you know are struggling (that means checking in on ourselves too!)

10.01.2022 Just a gentle reminder that it’s never been more important to look after yourselves. If you feel like you need some extra support, reach out to your loved ones or get a mental health plan from a gp. These can now be done over the phone and will get you up to 20 free or heavily subsidised sessions with a psychologist or mental health social worker (like me!)
