18.01.2022 Happy new moon! Don’t forget to take some time out to sit and reflect on the last moon cycle. What is it that you wish you let go of during this time? Maybe some unneeded energy, thoughts or patterns. Maybe some material possessions. Take time tonight to breathe, focusing on releasing and letting go. Create the space I just wanted to share a little with how I Infuse my oils with the moon cycle!! As you may or may not know, I am a big believer of tuning into the planetary... forces that are continuously interacting with our beings. One of the most important being the moon cycle! Well with these products I use the greater energetic forces of the grandmother moon to assist in our herbal infusions and maximise the nutritional benefit of our potions. Read below for a little more information about this process! I start my infusions on or just before the new moon. The new moon is a time of releasing and letting go. The energy that surrounds us during this time is perfect to assist the herbs in releasing their herbal essence into the oils. The infusion has began with the most potent energetic assistance we can harness. It then continues to infuse throughout the moon cycle, in a location that is exposed to both the sun and the moon, along with all the elements. As we move closer to the full moon, the energy shifts into fullness, assisting the oils and herbs to bind together, reaching their maximum potential. The following two weeks as we flow back to the new moon, the herbs again start to let go. Here any final essence is released into the oils and the herbs have completed their transformation. Within a few days later I will create the products with these potent infusions. This process might be slow but I feel that incorporating the energy of the moon into the infusions helps to maximise the herbal potential of these products. I feel infusing intention and love into these oils and applying these directly to your skin, your body’s biggest organ, you are absorbing this energy. 14.01.2022 Unfortunately our little space has had to shut their doors due to government laws. Sadly yoga will have to be postponed until we are allowed to use the space again. If you find yourself at home a little more during this time it could be a wonderful time to start your own practice. Jump on your mat and follow what feels goooood for your body. If you need any guidance, feel free to shoot me a message. Let’s all remember in these times what it is that we do have and try to stay on the positive side

07.01.2022 Pawanmuktasana series 1: this very simple series of movements is aimed at the joints, helping to remove blockages that occur here and stagnant the flow of Qi and blood in the area. In Chinese medicine it is believed that Qi enters and leaves through the joints. We store unprocessed emotions and thoughts in the body which eventually manifest into physical blockages causing inflammation and pain in the joints, impacting our range of motion. We can use this series to gain body a...wareness, remove blockages that have already occurred and as a preventative, ensuring the flow of Qi and blood through the joints is flowing. Although these asanas seem very simple, they have incredible impact on the body’s health. It takes about 20 minutes of your day to complete these movements. Starting at the toes, work your way up the body, counting 9 breaths per joint. I start my practice with a 10 minute meditation and alternative nostril breathing and finish with a 10 minute savasana.
