Also, next Tuesday, the 13th of October, chef Dan McGuirt will be part of a panel with other distinguished chef to discuss the ethics of fast food overtaking the culinary scene here in Australia. This event is put on by the Ethics Centre (formerly known as the St James Ethics Centre) which is an independent not-for-profit organisation that provides an open forum for the promotion and exploration of ethical questions. This discussion starts at 6.30pm until 8pm. The location of this event is at the Ethics Centre, Level 1 Legion House, 161 Castlereagh Street, Sydney. For more information, check out their website. 04.01.2022 Thanks to Urban List Sydney for stopping by last week and doing a write up on our new doughnut shop. https://www.theurbanlist.com/sydney/directory/joe-dough

04.01.2022 Coming next month is the great American holiday, the 4th of July, which we will surly be celebrating at Jazz City. In the mean time, as we do have many Swedish employees work for us, we have decided to celebrate their national holiday which is this coming Monday, the 6th of June. Normally we are not open on Mondays but our staff feels that it would be great to serve some Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and lingonberries and Swedish dessert called "kladdkaka" (sticky cake) served with raspberries and cream. Be sweet as a swede! We will be open at 6pm.

03.01.2022 Joe Dough's is not just about doughnuts. This week (Wednesday) we will launch the first addition to our savoury menu. Mississippi Delta Hot Tamales. Spicy beef surrounded by Masa dough, wrapped in a corn husk and served in a spicy tomato cumin broth with saltine crackers.
