25.01.2022 "Job of the past" Surface prep is one thing that I strive to push the limits on, it's not about grabbing a block and sand away, it's creating something from your heart, putting all emotions into it and being able to mentally coach yourself, through the testing times, where your skills are pushed beyond what you thought you could possibly do. It's a bond that you build with the car, some days are overwhelming and some days are absolutely incredible as you have break throughs .... When you're chasing perfection on this level, one swipe of the block is enough to put a low spot in the panel, it demands every bit of your attention every single movement of the block. The colour sanding at the end is another process that is testing, pushing limits of cutting the clear back with the unknown and anticipation. You could possibly cut through an edge anytime, it happens, buffing the last section and you go through an area and then its back to paint department, back to step one.
