19.01.2022 Well that term just flew by! We finished the season playing some fun games of rob the nest, and taking home some serious loot!! Are you ready for our crazy stats?? ... Maddy was #laplegend this week, completing 48 laps! Noah was the overall Lap Legend for the term - he swam 282 laps in 8 weeks. And walked away with the glittery cape!! And as a club we completed TWO THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE laps in 8 weeks. Yep, 2,575 laps. These kids are ALL lap legends! A massive THANK YOU to Toby for helping us out every week. He now has the shirt to prove that he really is a #jcswimclub #legend And finally, after many years as Julia Creek Swim Club dedicated members, it was time to say goodbye to Lucy & Sophie. 18.01.2022 AGM NOTICE Thursday 23rd July 2020, 6pm at Gannons Hotel. This will be our third and final attempt to hold an AGM. At our last 2 attempts, no one attended!... If we are unable to hold the AGM due to numbers and/or a new committee is not elected, swimming club will not continue and arrangements will be made to close the club down. Thank you to our swimmers for turning up each week, and thank you to our parents for helping that happen. You’ll be hearing from us EARLY in 2020 with a notice for a second AGM. Liam got his arm out of a cast, so managed to get to his first ever #jcswimclub AND we welcomed Charlie back for her first #clubnight of the year! And Issy passed the #kindnesscup onto Ruby. ... We might not have been able to do much #swimming, but we still had fun! Only 2 weeks left before the end of term. This term has FLOWN! #stormseason #didntstopus #loveourclub

02.01.2022 SO MUCH GOING ON! We missed putting up last week’s #laplegend ... sorry Noah ! Noah swam 84 laps last week!! Today we #paperscissorrocked all our laps. The more you win, the more laps you add to your tally!! Soooo many laps completed. ... Harry Gabbert was our offical photographer, the mums kept ‘lap score’ with lollies AND we had three MAJOR achievements... Pete became our first ever 100+ Lap Legend, completing a massive 107 laps this week. ONE. HUNDRED. AND. SEVEN. We’re so proud of you Pete!! After a weary start to the season Mac completed his first full session, and absolutely smashed it out of the park. You wouldn’t know he was worried about #swimclub just one week ago! Enjoy the lego Mac! And Bronte is our first recipient of our Kindness Cup. Bronte was a great friend to Ava and earned herself the Cup with a side of !!
