25.01.2022 On this Mothers Day I am very excited to announce Sacred Womb, our first womens circle. We will be sharing, learning, diving deeper into Womens mysteries, bringing conscious awareness to our lives through radical honesty, practicing self-care, witnessing and releasing unconscious patterns, healing and crafting through the changing seasons. The intention is to engage in a long term project of creating a blanket for ourselves or a loved one while we sit in circle in a sacr...ed way. We will gather at Sunshine Garden on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:30. Term 2 session goes from the 23rd of May to the 27th of June. This space is open to women in our community who wish to be held, heard and healed in a safe sacred circle (no children please, infants in arms are welcome). With loving guidance from an amazing florist, we will design, style and create a stunning advent/door/wall wreath using a variety of lush, fresh native foliage. Our wreaths will then dry naturally and still hold their beauty as time goes by. DM to reserve your spot.

23.01.2022 Autumn gifts us with change and detachment. It's up to us to mirror this in our lives and consciously do any necessary inner work in order to move forward. Take time to reflect and find areas in your family life that need improvement. What areas are bumpy? What isn't working? Why isn't it? What can you change/let go of? Focus on one area at a time, set a clear intention to make it work and sit with it for a few days. Let it grow in you and then shape it into a commitment. It takes self discipline to stay true to your commitments. Remain loving towards yourself while you're making adjustments and transitioning to a better space, weather it's a smoother bedtime routine, factoring in time for self care or establishing clear boundaries with your toddler. Nothing will happen unless you do...Autumn blessings to you all!

22.01.2022 This is a challenging topic for most of us and it keeps coming up in conversations at playgroup year after year. These are are some examples to inspire you, I hope you find them helpful. Lila x He loves wearing fairy dresses and were ok with that. How long I choose to breastfeed is not open for discussion. You are a parent and so am I, lets respect each others choices.... My partner and I have made this decision, I will reach out when/if I want your advice. At our home we dont use mobile phones at the dinner table. Asking her to hug you in exchange for a treat is sending the wrong message, try that in a different way. Comments about my daughters weight are not welcome and will not be tolerated. Im happy to bring a dish if you find it tricky to cater for our vegetarian diet. #parenting See more

19.01.2022 Ive wanted to create a teepee for the longest time. It took months to bring this simple offering to life, a few bush walks to forage the driftwood and four of us working together. Cockatoos fly overhead and every now and then gift us a feather so we crowned this teepee with two of them Excited for the children to play here!

18.01.2022 Mamas, papas and children have been working on these sweet wooden boats. In our summer advent story a little boy goes sailing and finds a shell a fern and finally a feather to take home with him.

18.01.2022 ...and the bees gifted her a little piece of their sweet scented beeswax so she and Papa could make a candle for Christmas time. (part of this years Advent story).

16.01.2022 Blessed Winter Solstice!!! Weve been working on our lanterns for a month. We used gifts from the trees in late Autumn. Theyre drying now and will soon be ready for our Mid-Winter lantern walk.

14.01.2022 Throwback to 2013... 1) Good morning dough, come say hello (funny coincidence: Im wearing the same skirt today!!!) 2) my very own little bubba enjoying his freshly baked bread and fruit at our playgroup sessions 3) my loyal sling, when Alex wasnt being lovingly held by Joy or Bel so I could work this is how we did it GRATEFUL for the ongoing love, encouragement and support from my family, the hundreds of families that have been and are part of our journey, my wise and strong teachers, mentors and friends who have held me and reassured me at challenging times when I almost threw in the towel (you know who you are!), here we are almost ten years strong, holding space for the village that nourishes children and their parents.

10.01.2022 Our Native Christmas Wreath workshop was a delightful experience. Taking time to stop, breathe and craft among women is a gift for the soul. We had lush foliage, flowers galore and beautiful guidance from my favorite florist. We all loved creating a magnificent centerpiece for our homes.
