One of our biggest challenges to this is retaining women in our industry after they start a family and in our society are likely to be the primary care giver. Id like to see a radical shift in our wider industry where women support women, the introduction of paid parental leave as a minimum standard, where there is real assistance for both working parents, women are encouraged back to work in a capacity that suits them and financially supports them to do so, and part timers are provided with meaningful work. 01.01.2022 100 years ago this week Clyde School opened in St Kilda. In 1976 Clyde School merged with Geelong Grammar School. To mark the occasion GGS celebrated the opening of the new north wing to the Clyde Boarding House yesterday (in 40 degree Autumn heat).
