23.01.2022 From training to securing a job and a brand new car! Mike Carne was one of our first students in the Shailer Park face to face class. Mike was introduced to Jigsaw Training Group and the Certificate III in Individual Support qualification through his employment consultant . Mike had been unemployed for a while and felt drawn to help people with disabilities as a career path. Mike enjoyed the course from start to finish finding the learning materials easy to follow. However i...t was Jigsaws trainer Matthew Hook that really impressed him Matt was fantastic! His delivery of the content was excellent. Since completing the course Mike has secured work with Life without Barriers working with a Gold Coast client that he has bonded with through common interests. Mike and his client are finding working together very rewarding. Mike is considering furthering his skills down the track by undertaking the Certificate IV in Mental Health. At this stage Mike is very proud of the fact he has just bought his very first brand new car! Mike has already recommended the qualification to his friends. 13.01.2022 On Thursday November 16th we got together with our graduating Certificate III Individual Support students to celebrate their achievement. The night was well attended by both our face to face classes at Shailer Park and Southport and we also had some online students drop in. Our CEO John Liddicoat was on hand to congratulate the students in person. It was wonderful to see the friendships the students had formed with each other and to hear their stories of obtaining great employment opportunities. It is always satisfying to know that the passion of our experienced training staff has had a positive effect on peoples lives. #graduation #training #buildingcareers

In February this year, after 18 years in the same employment, I decided to leave my comfort zone and do something I always wanted to do, which was to work in the Aged Care Sector. After much research, I chose Jigsaw Training to complete my Certificate 3 in individual support in Aged Care.
