23.01.2022 THIS WEEKS REPORT 19/9/2020: As you may be aware we can now cross the border to fish as long as you stick within the "bubble" map which you can find on the NSW website. For everyone on the victorian side you can only cross the border if you live within the 50km bubble and you can now camp on the murray.... THE MURRAY RIVER: - The junction of the murray and murrumbidgee at Kenley is still producing yellas on most baits. THE MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER: - Good size yellas are being picked up below the weir at Balranald on yabbie, shrimp and worms. - The Maude area is also producing yellas on most baits. THE WAKOOL RIVER: - The Genoe area has seen anglers landing yellas on crushed yabbies and worms. THE IRRIGATION CHANNELS: - Fishing has slowed in the channels but they are still worth a try. THE LAKES: - With the school holidays we should see anglers trying there luck in the lakes and with the warmer weather the redfin should start to come on the bite. Dont forget to keep sending in your reports and photos-without them I dont have a report to do!! Until next week- JC

22.01.2022 Its time to get the Tubby Minnows out with the yellas coming on the bite!!!

20.01.2022 This is Maya Radovic's yella from swan hill for some reason I could post her pic on my report-check out her smile!!!

20.01.2022 We will have to wait until this covid shit is over!!!!

19.01.2022 THIS WEEKS REPORT 14/11/2020: We are starting to see the influx of anglers now that they have given their "freedom" which is good to see,and the weather is going to hot up this week. The Murray has steadied and hopefully it will stay that way and the other rivers have a rise going through them. THE MURRAY RIVER:... - The river from the Wakool junction through to the other side of Swan Hill is producing good size yellas on small yabbies, shrimp and scrubworms. THE MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER: - Anglers fishing at the Balranald weir and at Red Bank are producing good numbers of yellas, with one bloke bagging out at Red Bank using a spinnerbait. THE WAKOOL RIVER: - There have been good numbers of yellas caught on. bait above and below Kyalite, with one angler landing a small cod and 5 yellas between 30 & 45cm in one outing. THE EDWARD RIVER: - China reports that a few yellas have been caught around Moulamien and in the Billabong on bait. LAKE CHARM: - The reddies are still on the bite on bait and lures, but you will have to dodge the speed boats. KANGAROO LAKE: - The lake itself is producing yellas on shrimp and worms, but the best spot is at the regulator where one local has been using the Tubby Minnows to great affect, landing 3-4 yellas within a half an hour or so-you can pick up the Tubby Minnows at my shop. ## I still have bardi grubs if you want to stock up for the cod opening. Keeps the reports/photos coming in=JC

19.01.2022 THIS WEEKS REPORT 7/11/2020: With only 3 weeks away till cod opening and melbournians allowed to travel to the country,I am expecting to see plenty of anglers heading our way in the next few months. And I am expecting this coming cod season to be a bumper going by the reports of the number and size of the cod caught whilst anglers have been chasing yellas during the closed season.... THE MURRAY RIVER: - Anglers fishing downstream of Mildura have been catching their bags of yellas on bait without too much trouble. - And it is the same fishing downstream from Euston using small yabbies, shrimp and scrubworms. - Bruce Myers fished from the bank at Murraydale during the week and landed 4 yellas between 50 & 60cm and plenty of small cod on shrimp, scrubbies and cheese. - My daughter in-law Nikita fished at Runciman Rd on tuesday with the family where she landed a double hook-up of small cod on worms and then landed another smaller one not long after-its just shows how healthy the river is for cod. - Locally at Swan Hill a few yellas have been landed on bait on a dropping river. THE MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER: - The Balranald area is still producing plenty of yellas on bait. THE WAKOOL RIVER: - The river is producing good size yellas in the Genoa and Kyalite areas on bait and lures. THE EDWARD RIVER: - And itis the same in this river with yellas and plenty of small cod taking small yabbies and scrubworms. One angler landed 10 cod and 2 yellas near Moulamein during the week. LAKE CHARM: - The lake has water running on into the lake which has seen plenty of small redfin getting on minnows but there have been some bigger reddies landed on soft plastics, blades and small vibes either trolled or on the cast. This weeks photos: - Nikita Credlins double cod hook-up. Until next week keep sending in your reports & photos JC

19.01.2022 ## MURRAY RIVER ACCESS ## REGIONAL VICTORIANS can now boat on the murray river without a border access permit AS LONG AS YOU DONT DISEMBARK on the NSW side-a little bit of commonsence!!!

18.01.2022 THIS WEEKS REPORT 19/12/2020: Its a bit late this week but better late than never!! There must have been a few xmas parties on last weekend because the reports have been a bit quite this week. The Murray is dropping again as is the Edward river and the Wakool has settled-hopefully they will leave the rivers alone over the holiday period, but i would'ngt bank on it!!... THE MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER: - The yellas are on the bite on a rising river in the Balranald area mostly on bait. THE EDWARD RIVER: - Still getting reports of plenty of cod getting caught between Kyalite and Moulamein on bait, with a lot of little ones amongst them, but that is good for the river> LAKE CHARM: - A few reddies are getting caught mainly on minnows but it is a bit hit and miss with them and a few nice yellas have been caught on small minnow type lures. This weeks photos: - Daniel Colliers trout cod. - Cody Van Hoofs 73cm cod from P/I. - Wayne Turners 91cm cod and yellas from Mildura. ## With the holidays coming up I will have plenty of bait and stock to keep everyone happy. 15.01.2022 BORDER RESTRICTIONS The NSW Govt has eased border restrictions allowing people who live within the 50 kilometre buffer zone to cross the border with a border permit. The way I read it is to launch a boat on the murray from the victorian side or to fish NSW rivers in our region, you will still be required to apply for a border permit online=at least its a start!!!
