04.01.2022 WORK EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITY - JAPAN Hello students, TORA is looking for an engineering/IT student in their penultimate year of study to complete an internship with them in Tokyo. ... TORA is a leading global provider of trading technology and financial services, offering unrivalled solutions spanning the entire trading life-cycle for institutional investors. About the job During the internship we will teach you our testing framework and the basics of algorithmic trading, after which you will work with the algo engine team to improve and document the testing framework. Our algo engine enables traders to automatically manage their orders on the exchange with different strategies in mind. The length will be roughly 3 months (up to 90 days) and will take place at the end of year break. This will still consider you as a tourist and as such you will not need a visa. Requirements Valid passport (Or the ability to obtain one in time) Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Coding experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python or the Web Design languages. Ability to speak and write in English fluently. Preferred qualifications Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
