23.01.2022 Call for expressions of interest for up to $100,000 The National Stem Cell Foundation of Australia will provide up to four $100,000 research grants per year over the next four years, as part of its Matched Funding Program. The program will open for Expressions of Interest on 8 February next year.... Researchers interested in applying for a grant under the program should complete an Expression of Interest (found on their website) and forward as directed. The Centre for International Trade and Business in Asia (CITBA) aims to create a platform for the academics, researchers, practitioners and students to disseminate their research findings with other global experts. 08.01.2022 ATTN HDR CANDIDATES WORKING ON QUALITATIVE PROJECTS Professor Catherine Manathunga, a leading expert in qualitative research, will be in Townsville on 19 November to run a workshop on qualitiative research design. This session will place emphasis on designing a research study that ensures creativity and coherence among all aspects of your qualitative study: the research questions, literature, theoretical foundation, methodology, data collection and analysis. This session is particularly valuable for HDR candidates in the early stages of their research, especially preparing for confirmation of candidature. 04.01.2022 ATTN Cairns candidates. If you haven't yet attended the face to face Respectful Relationships workshop, please book on CareerHub for the 13 November event, 9am to 11am. This practical, interactive workshop explores issues of gender, relationships and sexuality, consent and ethics in contemporary Australian society, with particular relevance to HDR candidates. If you can possibly attend face to face, that is the best way to fulfil this compulsory requirement (although a Zoom version is also available).
