20.01.2022 As we come to the end of National Volunteer Appreciation week we want to say the biggest THANK YOU to all our volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to looking after our turtles all week long. 2nd year Med student Daniel has been volunteering for us for almost a year and a half now and gives up time on his weekend to care for our turtles. I have had a blast volunteering at the Caraplace. The staff have been welcoming and the work is rewarding and the little turtles brighten my day. I enjoy coming in early mornings to start off my day with feeding the little, happily-swimming turtles and could not have had a better way to take a break from studies than to help out. I am very grateful for the experience and oppertunity I have been offered with this institution and I look forward to continuing the volunteer work. - Dan
