For most of us we are heading back into the gym either it be only a few days a week or everyday, after a few months off from our regular routine, chances are you will be feeling it. Now's a good time to make your routine more effective simple by incorporating bands with a squat rack or cables! Follow us @jdfitco... Exercise; The Cable Squat. 1. Use the v-bar attachment with cables, stand with your feet slightly wider than hip width apart, about a metre away from the machine. . . 2. Holding the bar with both hands, hinge at the hips and then bend at the knees into a squat position (sitting on an invisible chair) . . 3. Drive (push) through your heels and squeeze your glutes as you straighten your legs to come back up to a standing position. . . 4. 04.01.2022 If you missed the start of the week exercising/training kickstart your Tuesday with the Clamshell Follow us @jdfitco Exercise; "The Clamshell"... 1.Loop a mini band above your knees around both thighs. . . 2.Lie on your right side and prop up your head with your right hand. Bend both knees and bend at the hip so your thighs are perpendicular to your hip. Keeping your feet together, elevate your feet to hip height, while your knees stay touching the floor. . . 3.Keep your feet together as you lift your top knee (your left knee) toward the ceiling. . . 4.Slowly lower your left knee down to return to your starting position. That’s 1 rep. . . 5.Complete all your reps, then repeat on the other side.
