19.01.2022 Dear clients Jim's Dog Wash and Grooming Mernda will remain closed, at this stage, until midnight Sunday 27 September, due to the extension of Stage 4 lockdown. We have no control over the current Government restrictions and we appreciate your continued understanding over this time. We know it is not easy for dogs and owners alike. We will reschedule appointments booked between the 14 - 28 September inclusive to the next available, commencing Monday 28. Appointments after t...his time will be rebooked as soon as possible. Should your dog be in urgent need of attention, from nails causing issues, or becoming severly matted or hygiene areas in need of shaving due to faecal matter, please call your vet. 11.01.2022 Hi all, yesterday’s announcement regarding dog grooming is as follows: Only FIXED venues will open from 28th September, NOT mobile trailers. The mobile dog grooming group are still working with the government to have us back on the road sooner rather than later. At this point I'm endeavouring to work out IF we can work from home starting 28th September, with a covid safe plan, contactless drop off and collection. I'm also trying to find a table that I can rent at a salon, if... possible. I will advise early in the week. Thank you for your patience and support. Stay safe! Stay tuned for updates

07.01.2022 Hi all. At this point in time, according to Business Victoria, mobile groomers and home based groomers, are not able to operate. Mobile groomers can not set up and operate from home either. Stay tuned, as they did advise that this may change closer to September 28, as dog grooming is a very grey area and even they are still seeking clarification.

06.01.2022 Hi all, here is an update. The issues surrounding the opening of home based and mobile services has been raised at the highest levels. As soon as any news comes through we - all of the lobby groups and industry associations and mobile franchises will be contacted if there are any changes/updates.... The matter is before the various departments including the health department for discussion. Fingers crossed we get to open earlier than 26 October. Either way reallocated times will be advised when more is known. Take care Kathleen & Pierre
