24.01.2022 Hey everyone! This is my new track 'Turnim Het'. It's a pretty new direction for me, I'm feeling a lot more content with my life recently I think it's reflecting in my art. I'm going to continue in this vein for as long as it lasts so I hope you like it. The name comes from a Tok Pisin phrase refering to a courtship ceremony in Papua New Guinea where participants rub their faces together. My dad grew up in Papua New Guinea and I always like to put a bit of something about my ...family in my music. 'Mexico' is inspired by Tijuana Brass and samples a number of there records, it's pulled together in an Avalanches type style, similar to 'Coney Island' off my first EP. 'Exotic Fruit' is a light and easy, healthy assortment of sounds drawing influence from Daft Punk's latest record and Childish Gambino's short film 'Guava Island'. ...
