24.01.2022 I have been invited to talk about gumleaf playing with Libby Gore on ABC Radio Melbourne 774 tomorrow morning at 10.40am. Hopefully some listeners might be interested in learning to play and help carry on the tradition of gumleaf playing. If anyone would like a lesson, feel free to give me a call.



23.01.2022 Hi all, whilst I have been busy at my usual Warburton markets I wanted to share the Maldon Folk Festival details, in which I will be part of the Instrument Makers Exhibition again. I will be in the Wheel & Loom Building, Main St, Venue 16, 10am-5pm Sat 4th & Sun 5th November. It is a great 4 day event with lots of folk music, dancing & workshops.

13.01.2022 Items you CANNOT get at Woolies but can get it at the Warburton Summer Produce Market. Fresh organic vegetables grown in Wesburn, incredible bread locally baked..., Honey and eggs coming from anthers of flowers and chicken bums up at Mcmahons Creek, This other amazing specialty bread made in Warburton, Biodynamic strawberries from Hoddles Creek, Homemade chutneys and spreads -Warburton, A variety of alcoholic beverages THAT YOU CAN DRINK WHILE SHOPPING!!!,Hoddles Creek. Beeswax wraps made in Warburton, you can buy shampoo and conditioner-yes you can do that woolies BUT YOU can't take your own refillable container and get them filled!!!!(take a breathe). Seedlings! Seedlings! organic to boot- Get that autumn planting happening. You can also buy delicious food from stalls by BT Dubs and Symphony 36 - cant do that at Woolies. Also you cant go up and talk to a real live CFA member -actually thats not true -you can talk to them any time you want - They are just like you and me but wear funny hats. THINGS YOU CAN DO AT THE WARBURTON PRODUCE MARKET THAT WOULD GET YOU LOCKED UP IF YOU DID THEM IN WOOLIES. 1.Have your face painted, buy a hand made Ocarina which you can play while skipping between stalls. 2.Put a PA system near the veggie stand and hook up some rocking local bands and start jiving with your mates. 3. Bring your dog! 4.let your kids rush madly around in the aisles with ice-cream in their hands (locally made ice-cream of course) 5. leave your kids in trolleys (there actually are no trolleys at the market but if there were -you could - for hours on end* )7. sit down and let someone massage your feet 8. discreetly break wind (no one will ever know)9. commence a romantic relationship. 10. Buy a teeshirt that has swear words on it *disclaimer re trolleys -this is joke -really you should not leave your kids in trolleys -It is a good idea of Woolies to make this a thing. 04.01.2022 We regret to advise that the 2021 Port Fairy Folk Festival will not go ahead over the March long weekend. Health and safety are paramount for everyone involved ...in putting on and enjoying our Festival. With the 2021 event on pause, we will focus our energies on producing a truly wonderful Port Fairy Folk Festival experience in 2022. We cant wait to see you there. The Port Fairy Folk Festival Committee extends its support to the live music industry across Australia and to all those who have been severely impacted by this pandemic, as we work together to preserve the future of major festivals, events and cultural activities. The 45th Port Fairy Folk Festival will take place on 11-14 March 2022.

01.01.2022 Tomorrow I am going to be selling my Ocarinas, pots, brooms & photos. And throughout the day I will be up on stage talking about Gumleaf playing at 1pm, singing & playing at 3pm and playing Didjeridu at 4.30pm - going to be a great day out.
