A great experience!

22.01.2022 Today we became parents!! The children have been patiently watching and waiting for our chickens to hatch, and today they have started to break through their shells. The chickens are courtesy of Miss Sallys dad who runs an egg farm. The baby chicks will be raised and cared for by the children and returned to the farm when they are strong and independent. Over the coming weeks, the children will learn about responsibility, the life cycle as well as the important elements l...iving things need to survive such as food and water. What a wonderful egg-sperience for the children!

12.01.2022 We are very excited to have partnered with Jells Park Primary School to assist with their collection of plastic bottle caps for the Helping Hands campaign. Helping Hands take recycled HDPE 2 (High Density Poly-Ethylene) plastic bottle tops to make 3D printed prosthetic hands/arms for children in need in under-serviced countries. We have a collection box in the foyer at the Kinder so please drop any bottle caps you have into the box. ... Thanks to Jells Park Primary for inviting us to be a part of this initiative with them.

11.01.2022 Our Preschool is participating in the Woolworths Earn and Learn program and we would love your support! If you shop at Woolies between now and 25th June, you can collect Earn and Learn stickers for every $10 you spend. We have a collection box in the foyer at the Preschool and also one at the Wheelers Hill Woolworths. We would appreciated any stickers you can drop into either of these boxes. The Woolworths Earn & Learn program helps schools and ELCs purchase new educational equipment - the more stickers we collect, the more we can redeem!

09.01.2022 Today, after 14 years of service, Miss Lauren taught her last session at Jells Park Preschool. We are all very sad to farewell Lauren, who has left to spend more time with her young son Lawson. Lauren has dedicated many hours and in fact years to our community preschool and taught hundreds (more than 600!) of children. She should be very proud of what she has achieved - most notably the undercover deck area and the new outdoor play space. We wish her all the best in her fut...ure endeavours - although the children and staff will miss her, we know she will succeed in whatever new adventures await. Lauren will always be welcome at Jells! #earlychildhoodeducation #jellsparkpreschool #jells #fouryearoldkinder #teacher #threeyearoldkinder

01.01.2022 Did you know that government budget cuts threaten the funding of 4YO Kindergarten beyond 2019? But the benefits of Kinder last a lifetime! Children attending Kinder have better literacy, numeracy and social skills once they reach school. If funding is cut, more kids will miss out on equal access to Kinder programs. Show your support by signing the I Love Kinder petition! #ILoveKinder #signthepetition
