17.01.2022 SPRINGTIME it really is here! There are flowers blooming everywhere, fresh green buds on bush and tree. The birds are nest building, the sap is rising, there is a lift to the spirits, a song in our hearts and the Marguerites are dazzling!

15.01.2022 Super man Fletch! Today he removed the stump out of the ground. We had a giant Oleander in the backyard. It had been there a long time and had flourished and became a monster of gigantic proportions. Fletch started cutting it back and whittled it down to a large stump which he worked on for days, digging to unearth the huge root system and cutting them off. Today he finally removed the stump! An amazing effort. He is pretty pleased with himself Well done my ever ready battery man, you never cease to surprise me!

08.01.2022 Birthday Swim Fins!!! Hot Pink baby! So happy They have yet to do their maiden swim, but I tried them on for size and proudly duck waddled around the house. I will have to wait until my hands have healed before I can swim properly, but hopefully that won’t be too long! I gratefully received all things swim related for my birthday so I will have the full kit for wild winter swimming. Getting ready now as we head into Autumn so I can satisfy my craving for the addictive waters of the Bay.

It had become a monster of gigantic proportions and we had discussed the possibility of removing it so we could plant something more suitable to our small garden. Fletch decided to attack it yesterday and quietly slogged away at it creating a mountain of branches and foliage. He whittled it down to a large stump. Today he removed a massive clump of sword ty...pe grass as well as a large part of the stump. An amazing effort. He is pretty pleased with himself .
