06.01.2022 Nothing better than celebrating the end of year holiday season with your colleagues, friends and family with a good BBQHowever, we still need to remember the importance of basic gas safety when cooking on the barbie. The scenerio in this video below illustrates while it is important. It's worth watching! Also here are Jenny's top gas safety tips: 1. Keep gas bottle upright and secured to prevent it from falling. 2. Inspect your gas bottle to ensure no damage such as hos...e, fittings and regulator. Any signs of wear and tear replace immediately. 3. Do not light a flame or cigarette close to the bottle. 4. Conduct a gas leak test every time you use the gas bottle by using a spray bottle with soapy water to check for leaks in your fittings, regulator and hose. This can be done by switching on the gas bottle. Then spraying the regulator, valves and entire hose assembly up to where it attaches to the gas bottle with the soapy water. Bubbles will form, if there is a gas leakage. Switch off the gas bottle immediately, if there is a leak. See more
