25.01.2022 I am a HUGE fan of mineral celloids! They are incredibly effective, but also very safe! They are safe for babies, pregnant women and even your doggies! Oh, and there aren't any contradictions with medication! Isn't that awesome?! The other thing I like is that they are rapidly absorbed in the body, making the effects felt within 20 to 30 minutes, whereas a vitamin or mineral can take up to 2 to 3 weeks to start to have noticable impact. My husband takes this daily, I take it... around my period, and I am starting my dog, Sienna, on it today! If you want to know what minerals you are deficient in, it is as simple as me (or another Naturopath) looking at your eyes, tongue and nails....and checking symptomology of course! P.P.M.P stands for Potassium Phosphate Magnesium Phosphate. This is one of my favourite and most prescribed. Check out some of the things it is useful for: -Conditions of physical, mental and nervous exhaustion -Depleted nerve energy -Conditions associated with muscular tension (e.g. headaches) -Low mood -Anxiety -Insomnia -Despondency -Fatigue -Poor memory / Concentration -Tremors, spasms and/or twitching -Irritability -Dysmenorrhoea -Poor circulation -Amenorrhoea -Diarrhora / Constipation -PMS -Neuralgia (e.g. sciatica) -Confusion -Weakness Pretty amazing little gem, wouldn't you say?

24.01.2022 Even when we are feeling broken, we still have value and can make an incredible contribution to others and the world. Don't forget that!

24.01.2022 Be kind. It is a phrase that is often thrown around, but are many of us actually implementing it? Actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. It is wonderful to say "let's be kind to one another", however, if we aren't actually BEING KIND, what's the point?... A little kindness really does go a long way. Give someone a compliment, smile at a stranger, hold the door for someone, pay for a stranger's coffee, give to the homeless, sit and have a conversation with someone, help others....whatever kindness means to you, be sure that you are taking ACTION steps daily. Kindness breeds kindness. With all of the mental health issues going on in the world, Lord knows we need to uplift one another. Guess what? When you are kind to someone else, not only do they feel good, you do too! Isn't that awesome? So instead of being a jerk when you are upset, be kind! I bet you will feel much better in to time. What are some ways you like to implement kindness?

23.01.2022 PCOS Friendly Smoothie With PCOS it is really important to eat a calorie dense breakfast that is full of good fats and protein. This helps keep our blood sugar stable. We also want to eat lower carb as PCOS comes along with insulin resistance in many cases. Getting fibre in is also important as excess oestrogen cleared by the liver MUST bind to fibre in the colon to get excreted. If it doesn't, then it gets reabsorbed! This smoothie ticks all the boxes. Enjoy! 1/4 cup full fa...t coconut milk (I use Ayam brand) Filtered water to desired consistency Pinch Celtic sea salt Few dashes cinnamon 1 heaped Tbs organic cacao powder 1 serve protein powder (I use Vital Protein pea protein) 1 serve greens powder (I use NutraOrganics) 1 serve collagen (I use NutraOrganics) 1/2 small banana 1 heaped Tbs natural nut butter 2 drops Young Living Peppermint essential oil See more

19.01.2022 DIY NONTOXIC BLUE/PURPLE SHAMPOO So, I think you guys know I'm all about living as low tox as possible. I've not had blonde in my hair for a couple years. I was recommended a paraben free shampoo at the hair salon to ensure the color didn't turn brassy.... Well, it isn't always about what isn't in the product. Any product containing the word fragrance contain phthalates, which are a BIG NO NO in my opinion! They disrupt the endocrine (hormone) system, mess with thyroid function and mimic oestrogen in the body....which is NOT what we want if there is an oestrogen dominant condition like PCOS, endometriosis or fibroids....not to mention there are oestrogen dependent cancers! Just sayin'! Anyway, I knew I didn't want to take that shampoo home. Instead I made my own! Well, was lazy. I literally put my Young Living shampoo in my hand and added a drop of Valor to it. I rinsed and repeated. I chose Valor as it has a purple/blue sort of colour from the Blue Tansy essential oil. You could use straight Blue Tansy or even Peace and Calming. Well, it worked a treat! No brassiness here, and I got all of the benefits of Valor oil at the same time. Winning!

19.01.2022 So you know I bang on all the time about living as chemical-free as possible....there is a reason! Chemicals do a number on your body. Not only are many of them carcinogenic (meaning they CAUSE CANCER!!), they can also impact your gut microbiome and they disrupt the endocrine system. What's the big deal about that?? Well, the endocrine system includes things like the thyroid, the adrenals, the testes, the ovaries, the pancreas etc. That means, using chemicals interferes with ...their ability to function properly. This is a HUGE problem and can lead to a number of physical and emotional issues. I know first hand! I HAD (yes, past tense) PCOS, I didn't have a period for two years, was infertile, had Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, adrenal insufficiency and was prediabetic (and a host of other issues). I do NOT want others to go through what I did. It was two years of hell. I want those that are going through it to know that there IS hope and there IS a way out. A huge part of that journey is removing the chemicals from your life. Seriously. My Hashi's only went into remission when I decreased my chemical load! Young Living makes that SO easy! They have a ton of incredible cleaning products that really are toxin-free....non of this creative labelling that makes consumers THINK that what they're using is chemical free. If you have a fur baby that you love or have children that you love and want the best for, then you have to STOP using chemical cleaners!! Did you know that the bottom of our feet and animals' paw pads are HIGHLY absorptive? Yep. If you clean your floors, counter tops, bath tubs, shower floors etc with chemical cleaners then your babies and animals are absorbing all of that into their bloodstream!! YIKES!! I urge you to research. Use the Think Dirty app or look up your current products on www.ewg.org. Then shoot me a message and I will help you create a non-toxic home easily and affordably. For those of you in Australia and New Zealand, you can get started with a Premium Starter Kit and you will receive a 4 pack of the ART Beauty Masques FREE! They are gorgeous on your skin and are filled with chemicals that can actually make you age faster - yikes! I personally LOVE the Healthy Homes Premium Starter Kit as you get 8 Thieves products that will help you on your way to creating a low-tox/chemical-free home. It also comes with a diffuser and 6 essential oils. AWESOME value for money! Read more about it here: https://yldist.com/essentialwellnessau/premium-starter-kit/

18.01.2022 I absolutely LOVE this quote. It is so true! We don't become experts overnight! We have to start as a novice, learn, grow, and make a heap of mistakes along the way.....and that's okay! When you focus on progress instead of perfection, you are more likely to keep on moving forward, learning and trying, regardless of what hiccups and setbacks come your way.... You got this!

17.01.2022 My dad was only 43 when he took his life. That's just over 6 years older than I am. So young! I didn't know until several years later, but he talked about committing suicide to my mom a number of times. This is in NO way blaming her! It was HIS choice. But what I want to say is that if someone is discussing suicide with you, please don't pass it off as attention seeking. They are looking for help, support and understanding. If you aren't equipped to deal with that yourself, t...hat's okay! Help them find someone they are comfortable with who is. More often than not people just want to be heard and supported. A listening ear can do wonders.

17.01.2022 HORMONE DISRUPTING CHEMICALS SERIES DAY 5 Here are a few terms that you may have heard of, but if not lets do a quick review before we take a closer look at some of the chemicals or substances as they are called by the Chemical Management Plan that we need to educate ourselves on.

17.01.2022 HORMONE DISRUPTING CHEMICALS SERIES DAY 3 Today we face hazards that were neither known nor imagined a few decades ago. We are at risk of exposure to thousands of new synthetic chemicals. Since World War II, more than 80,000 new chemicals have been invented!! Many of these chemicals have been dispersed widely into the environment. Most of these chemicals did not previously exist in nature. Why are these chemicals a threat?... Easy Absorption: Synthetic chemicals can enter our bodies by ingestion, inhalation, or through the skin. Infants are at risk of exposure in the womb AND through breast milk. Environmental Defense tested the umbilical cord blood of three anonymous newborns in Toronto and Hamilton, finding a total of 137 chemicals overall. The number of toxins in each baby's cord blood ranged from 55 to 121.Among them were flame retardants, PCBs, PFCs found in non-stick coatings, and organochlorine pesticides. Many of the chemicals are linked to serious health conditions: 132 are reported to cause cancer in humans or animals; 110 are considered toxic to the brain and nervous system; and 133 cause developmental and reproductive problems in mammals. Although the sample of three newborns is extremely small, the findings are consistent with cord blood studies done elsewhere, including in the United States. Mass Production: In 2014, over 5,000,000 tonnes of substances were released into the environment (air, water, land). The number of companies reporting in for this report decreased so its possible the amount is even higher. Too Little Testing: Only a fraction of these chemicals have been tested for toxicity. Fewer than 20 percent have been studied for their capacity to interfere with children's development. Heavy Use of Pesticides: In 2013, 59% of Canadian households that had a lawn or garden reported using fertilizers or pesticides, up slightly from 2011 (55%). Households in Saskatchewan were the most likely to have used fertilizers or pesticides in 2013 (75%), while those in New Brunswick were the least likely, with 47% reporting this. 17.01.2022 This is a must read article. I am a huge advocate of creating a low-tox home for people AND pets. Our furbabies depend on us to create a safe, healthy environment for them. Unfortunately, our babies are susceptible to many of the same diseases and illnesses caused by toxins as we are! Respiratory issues, cancers, neurological issues, skin conditions, even death. This is NOT okay -- and we have the responsibility and capability of reducing their chemical exposure. ... Please comment or message me if you are not sure where to start. I would love to help you create a low-tox home to support the wellbeing of your furbabies, just as we have. https://www.alive.com/lifestyle/dogs-and-toxic-chemicals/

16.01.2022 Breakfast for dinner! Who didn't love that when they were kids?! Well, that's exactly what we did last night....and we got to have the leftovers for lunch. Winning! These are LCHF, GF and DF waffles! The recipe was inspired by and adapted from my friend Vanessa Rae Romero's recipe on her blog www.healthylivinghowto.com. I highly recommend you check it out! She has a TON of awesome information and delicious recipes!... Here's the recipe: 2 cups blanched almond flour 1 cup vanilla pea protein (I use Vital Protein) 1 Tbs baking powder 1 Tbs cinnamon 1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt 2 cups filtered water 4 Tbs ghee, melted 1 Tbs vanilla 6 eggs, whisked Mix together the dry, then the wet and then pop them in a mixer together. Mix on low. Pop them in your waffle maker! Enjoy with ghee, berries and a drizzle of pure maple syrup!

16.01.2022 Cleaning out your makeup bag is SO important! Why? Well, anything that you put on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream....which means it will reach EVERY.SINGLE.CELL in your body! Cosmetics have a ton of chemicals in them. One in particular are parabens. Parabens are oestrogen mimicking chemicals. This means they can bind to our cells like oestrogen would. However, because they are not real oestrogen, they can have a more powerful effect, a less powerful effect or a c...ompletely different effect than real oestrogen would! This is one of the reasons I believe oestrogen dominant conditions, such as, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids etc are such a problem in women today. We put synthetic junk on our bodies all the time! The other thing to point out is that some cancers, like some breast cancers, are oestrogen dependent!! We do NOT want to feed cancer because of the makeup we choose. Why not choose something that can still enhance your natural beauty and add a pop while being nontoxic?? Not a hard decision in my opinion! Especially when Young Living's Savvy Minerals give you a TON of beautiful options! Check out the photos for some inspiration. I realise number 6 is missing. Sorry! These are from a FB page and it wasn't uploaded. No matter though. You still have a ton of options!

16.01.2022 September is National PCOS Awareness Month. As someone who has been through PCOS and all the rubbish that entails, I wanted to share my story and encourage you to share yours. Sharing stories is important to demonstrate that we aren't alone and that there "isn't something wrong with us". Throughout the month I'm going to give tips and advice that helped me heal. Please know that there IS hope and you CAN heal. This is my story. At 26 I came of the birth control pill. I had be...en on it for 8 years. I didn't have a period right after coming off it, which the doctor said was normal. I would get ALL the PMS symptoms - bloating, cramping, cravings, headaches, sore breasts, oedema, fatigue, etc...but no period. 6 months went by and still no period. The doctor said that wasn't unusual given the length of time I had been on the pill. My gut said this wasn't right but I took his word for it. When I hit 12 months without a cycle I went back and he said that this was abnormal and I needed to get testing done to check for PCOS. I had bloods and and internal and external ultrasound done. I remember clear as day the day that I received my diagnosis. I was told that I had PCOS, that I was infertile, that I wasn't ovulating, that I would never have children and IVF wouldn't be an option for me. I was now 28 and on the outside, a very fit Personal Trainer. I asked what I could do and the doctor literally said "nothing". I said that surely there must be something and he went onto Google and printed out some documents. I ended up seeing 5 doctors and a Naturopath and nothing changed. Enter my friend Vanessa. She told me to make some dietary changes and get on a number of supplements. Guess what. After TWO YEARS of not having a period, I started menstruating 3 months into these changes. It took another 2 years to regulate, but my periods are now clockwork and I CAN have children should I choose!! There IS hope ladies!

15.01.2022 Brownies. Delicious, chewy, fudgy, rich, brownies. These are my absolute favorite dessert. I blame this on my oldest brother, who from the moment I was allowed to bake, has asked for brownies. Since he moved out for college (he is 10 years older than I am), each visit has included a batch of brownies. He doesnt even have to ask anymore. I dare say this tradition has been happening for over 20 years! He was never into the cake-like brownies. Instead, he wanted them just cook...ed, so that the middle was gooey, and I have not been able to eat them any other way. When I was changing my diet into a sugar-free one, I searched paleo/low-carb blogs for hours to find a recipe that looked comparable to a conventional brownie. I tried a few, and while I liked them, they never quite hit the mark for me. That is, until I did some experimenting in the kitchen and came up with these beauties. They are very dense, but seriously good. Many recipes use almond butter, but I wanted to go for a more Nutella-esque flavor, so I used hazelnut butter. To help give the gooey texture (and to please my chocoholic husband) I add in chocolate chunks. Pure bliss. These are so good it is hard not to devour them all in one sitting. I have yet to make these for the brownie connoisseur, AKA my brother, but I have no doubt these would get his tick of approval. Ingredients: 1 cup hazelnut butter 1/2 cup coconut milk 2 organic eggs 2 tsp organic vanilla extract 1/4 tsp celtic sea salt 1/3 cup + 1 tbs organic cacao powder 1/4 cup Natvia 100g 70-85% dark chocolate Directions: 1. Heat oven to 180 C. 2. Line an 88 glass baking dish with non-toxic baking paper and set aside. 3. In your electric stand mixer combine hazelnut butter, coconut milk, eggs, vanilla, and salt. 4. Add in the cacao powder and xylitol and mix again. 5. Chop the Lindt chocolate into small chunks and stir in by hand. 6. Bake 22-25 minutes. Notes: I like really dark chocolate. You are more than welcome to use 70% chocolate in the recipe and add a bit more Natvia if needed.

15.01.2022 Are you wearing the "I'm busy" badge? I know I was for many years and it led me down a path of many health issues....twice! Yeah, it takes me a couple of times to learn things. The first crash I had was at 26 when I stopped having a period, had adrenal fatigue, vertigo, migraines, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, IBS and more.... I had worked full time and studied full time for a decade and my body had enough. I remember feeling sad that I had to take a 6 month medical leave from my second Masters degree...but I was also SO RELIEVED! Fast forward to the present. I've been working too hard for too long. We went away for my birthday last week and I had 3 social media, email, and work days off in a row. That hadn't happened for YEARS. Not okay...and my body and mindset are letting me know! Let's stop wearing a busy lifestyle as a badge of honour. It's not! Let's put self care in the form of rest, relaxation, time out and days off first! When we are rested and recharged physically and mentally we will be more productive, present, motivated and happy.

13.01.2022 Don't wait for something positive to happen. Create your own opportunities and/or dive in to opportunities that you are presented with! I didn't wait until a job came knocking. I put myself through school (and a bucket load of it!), and then proactively looked for work. When I got knocked down, I swam out to the ship by adapting and creating a new opportunity....which lead me to become a Naturopath and Nutritionist!... While it took me a year to come to my senses, I finally took the opportunity presented to me with Young Living. The business opportunity is INCREDIBLE and I've met some amazing people along the journey. Happy to help you get started with this too of course What opportunity are you going to create or say yes to?

13.01.2022 These two bring me joy, laughter, comfort...and help keep me sane! There really is something special in the bond you can achieve with your furbabies. Did you know that touching an animal increases endorphin levels temporarily? Yep! Pretty amazing!... Endorphins help us cope with physical and emotional pain. They are responsible for giving us feelings of pleasure, love and appropriate numbness....meaning they help enable us to let go of things and not take things so personally. When we don't have enough endorphins we may comfort eat or drink, and/or cry/tear up easily. Moral of the story? Go touch, pat, stroke, kiss and love on your furbabies! If you don't have one, go pat a friend's or a stranger's (ask permission of course!). I would love to see your furbabies! Pop a photo in the comments

11.01.2022 Friends, you have heard me bang on about essential oils for nearly 5 years. If you know me, you know I am NOT into airy fairy stuff -- I like science! That is why it took me nearly a YEAR to get started using oils. I had to research credible sources, such as Pub Med, to see if these oils were legit. Well, they are! There are hundreds of scientific studies on Pub Med showing just how effective they are! Quality does matter and you get what you pay for -- which is why I am hold...ing a class to show you how you can get the highest quality essential oils and essential oil infused products on a budget. Class is TONIGHT 7pm Perth time. I realise not everyone will be able to attend live, which is why I will leave the class up for a week and you can watch the replay :) Link to class in my bio! It's on Facebook!

09.01.2022 STRESS. It wreaks havoc on the body and can cause a host of negative effects. The thing is, stress doesn't have to be physical, it can be EMOTIONAL as well. These two photos were taken 2 years apart. In that time I have been under significant emotional stress. I'm not ready to dive into what that is, however, it has really impacted me in a number of ways.... When we are stressed our adrenals kick in. This isn't a negative thing in the short term. In fact, it is a survival mechanism. The problem comes in when it is chronic, like in my situation. When this happens, the whole endocrine chain can get thrown out of whack. While my Hashimoto's stayed in remission, I started getting hypothyroid symptoms that I hadn't experienced for many years. Same with the PCOS symptoms. Cortisol chews through progesterone, which is our natural hormone balancer. It isn't uncommon to see oestrogen increase when progesterone is low, and that was confirmed via saliva testing for me. I've never been a drinker to deal with problems (in fact I don't drink at all nowadays and haven't for many years), I don't do drugs or smoke...but food is my comfort. I can admit that my food choices were not ideal in this time. Refined carbs and sugar actually light up feel good centres in our brain, like serotonin, to make us feel good...temporarily. I have been doing this over the past 2 years and I have put on 6kg. I am the heaviest I have been in my life. No, I don't think I am crazy overweight, but I'm not where I'm comfortable. I've put myself back on amino acids and specific nutrients to help me deal with what is going on. Next step is to deal with the emotional stress step by step. I'm seeing a counselor at my church and talking through it to seek healing. I will post more on this later as I want to be real and authentic with you. In the last 6 months I've experienced depression and anxiety. Two things I've never dealt with before. It is both confronting and interesting. Interesting because it gives me a better understanding of what people go through and gives me a glimpse into what my dad dealt with before his suicide. You know me, I always have to learn! Here's to healing!

09.01.2022 HORMONE DISRUPTING CHEMICALS SERIES POST 6 In isolation a substance, lets say hair dye, can be relatively safe (our bodies do have a natural detoxification process!), but can become harmful when combined with another substance. Be careful of the consumer cocktail. You may think, "Well there are such small amounts of chemicals or toxins in these products, there is no way they can really affect my health that much".... The Environmental Protection Agency has stated that small amounts of chemicals are not harmful to the body - again, because our bodies have natural processes to protect itself and eliminate these. However, I am NOT advocating that chemicals should be used. In fact, I think we should avoid them where possible so that our bodies can deal with the toxins, like pollution, that we do NOT have control over. Just sayin'! Really. Think about it. What do you think happens when we add small amounts of chemicals / toxins from every product we use, every single day, every single week, every single month, every single year, for our entire life? A small amount in your soap, personal care products, hair products, hand soap, cleaning products, toothpaste, etc. All of these little things add up to BIG problems and can put a significant burden on your body.

08.01.2022 I did not write this post. Katrina Teterekidis tweaked the original post, but could not find the original author -- but I 100% agree! If you are mindful of what you eat - aka what you put IN your body, then you absolutely have to think about what you put ON your body. After all, everything you put on your body gets absorbed into your blood stream. If I could encourage you to do ONE thing this holiday season, it would be to stop buying this stuff for kids, grand babies, niece...s, or ANYONE on your list. The bath bombs. The colorful hand sanitizer. The sparkly bath gel. The hand lotion. The makeup Allergies. Eczema. Migraines. UTIs. Hyperactivity. Infertility. Hormone disrupters. Cancer. So many of the ingredients in these products are linked to these. And they're totally normalized in our culture. $2.75 sounds like a great price point for stocking fillers ....be careful with all the hidden side effects The NICNAS & TGA are doing NOTHING to test the safety of the products we use daily in our homes on our most precious babes. So please, just like you do with food, take a moment to read the ingredients before you put these in your cart, because what goes ON the body, ON the largest organ, our skin goes IN the body. Here's your cheat sheet of what to start avoiding: DEA/MEA/TEA Fragrance/Parfum Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) Parabens PEGs (of any kind) Petroleum & Petroleum byproducts Propylene Glycol Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) Synthetic colors & dyes( all the numbers) I believe in using safe options and empowering you with the knowledge to either make your own personal care products or how to select safer options. Just ask

08.01.2022 HORMONE DISRUPTING CHEMICALS SERIES DAY 1 For those that dont know me, I am a Naturopath and Nutritionist and run a Young Living business. The endocrine system is one of my major passions the other being mental health although they can go hand in hand really. You see, nearly 10 years ago I stopped having my period. I didnt have one for 2 years!! Yes, you read that right. TWO YEARS!... In that time I was diagnosed with PCOS, infertility, amenorrhea, pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, Hashimotos thyroiditis, adrenal insufficiency, migraines, vertigo, my liver was worse than an alcoholic's and I had a history of gut issues since birth. Prior to this, when I was having a period, they were excruciatingly painful. I would miss days of school or work because of the pain. Up until I was 19 I couldn't swallow pills and I would take up to 8 children's Tylenol per dose. Once I started to swallow pills, I would take 1-2 PACKS of Ibuprofen / Nurofen each month to deal with the pain! I don't know if I was every really regular before I started on birth control at 18. I can't remember if I am honest. I just remember the pain. Lying on the kitchen or dining room floor bawling my eyes out because the pain was so bad. The only reason I got alerted to something being severely wrong was because I stopped the birth control pill at 26 because it was triggering severe migraines. I would literally lose half my vision. The funny thing is, on the outside, I looked healthy! I was a Personal Trainer at the time, weighing 8kg less than I do now, but clearly my body wasnt happy. I spent two years trying to get some clarity on how I could heal. There was no real progress, even after seeing 5 doctors and a naturopath. At the end of that 2 year mark a friend told me to try changing my diet to a low-carb Paleo type of diet and taking specific supplement to my needs. I figured that I had nothing to lose, so why not? And guess what, things started changing! Within 3 months of starting to eat that way I began having periods again! Over the course of the next 2 years all other illnesses had healed as well EXCEPT my Hashis. I have been in remission about 5 years, and that occurred when we moved from Sydney to Perth. Absolutely nothing changed in diet, lifestyle, etc. The only difference was we moved from an apartment in the city overlooking the freeway to a townhouse on a side street. After 6 months of being away from the toxic fumes from the car exhaust, my Hashis went into remission! That was a wakeup call for me to really see the connection between these endocrine (hormone) disrupting chemicals and endocrine (hormone) system health. It is a piece of the puzzle I think is left out of the equation far too often, so I will be doing a series to help teach you about this connection. There will be a post daily, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

07.01.2022 Friends - I have created a new page. This one is a CLOSED group. I have set it up to be a hub of information that will help you support your physical and emotional health naturally. If you think that is for you, then request to join! I am happy for you to add your friends to this as well if you think that they will be interested. Of course I will still share some to my personal profile page, but not the same amount of content.... https://www.facebook.com//supportphysicalandemotionalheal/

04.01.2022 HORMONE DISRUPTING CHEMICALS SERIES DAY 4 I would like you to read the statement on the graphic found on the Chemical Substances website which belongs to the Government of Canada. This statement was found in their Risk Assessment on Chemicals. Then take a look at some of the long term health effects according to the Government of Canada -- isn't that SCARY and unacceptable?! ... Not everyone will react the same but we should all be aware.
