25.01.2022 The latest addition! A new piece of equipment to torture, I mean train you all on! For those wondering what my plans are going forward with regards to PT’s and Group Classes in the barn (my gym), the next few announcements from Dan will give me the opportunity to set the wheels in motion, make a solid plan and get training in the barn back up and running. (But please remembering I am still homeschooling until week 2 of term 4 and that is my main priority) There will obv...iously be rules and guidelines that I and anyone who trains with me will need to follow and I will share these as soon as I have all of the details! All prepaid PT’s and class sessions will be carried over into next year so no one will miss out and your sessions won’t expire! Plus all pre paid sessions will be my priority and booked in first before I take on any new clients. 24.01.2022 In case you’re wondering how good I look post workout - here it is! (Amazing I know! I don’t know how I manage to stay so fresh and flawless) So now that I’ve shared such a flattering photo of myself - I’m just popping in to say hi! I have been a little MIA on here of late as PT’s are now back in full swing, family life is a bit hectic at the mo, plus all the normal Mum life, work life (non existent) balance This time of year is when everything seems to get even crazie...r, with Christmas just around the corner (), more catch up’s, more late nights, busier weekends and all of the rest - it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed. So, my mission for the next 4 weeks is to look after me a little bit more. The old you can’t pour from an empty cup is a saying that is often met with well that’s easier said that done and it can be very hard to find/take time for yourself (particularly as a mum). But! Even 10 minutes out of each day can make all of the difference! Take a longer shower or hop in the bath, listen to some music, read a book, do a puzzle, exercise, cook, stare at the stars, whatever it may be - do it! It’s important and you’re worth it! See more

24.01.2022 A busy afternoon filming new movements to add to our exercise library for our next at home program! Every workout is typed up and and sent out as a PDF for you to keep and to make it super easy, you simply click on the exercises listed in your workout and you’ll be taken straight to a demo video by yours truly So if you can’t attend the zooms, the workouts are still available to you anytime along with the demo videos so you know exactly what each movement is and how to d...o it. Our next 8 week program starts Monday the 19th of October and includes 4 x Zoom sessions per week and 5 x at home workouts in total, as well as access to our private Facebook group. All this for only $40 (that’s $1 per workout!) Zooms are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 6:30am. 24.01.2022 I shared this one back in either iso 1.0 or iso 2.0 (can’t remember because 2020 honestly just felt like one massive lockdown!) but thought it would be fitting to share again. Going back into lockdown, albeit for only 5 days can be triggering for so many of us who struggled through months of lockdown in 2020. Don’t underestimate the impact that this may have on those around you - check in with them, support them and help them. And if you are someone who is struggling, no m...atter how much make sure you reach out and ask for help! 23.01.2022 You better believe that’s a home made chicken parmi with salami, spinach and cheese with sweet potato chips and baked feta all cooked in the air fryer! For those that asked about the air fryer purchase - so far so good! Haven’t done enough experimentation to tell you all to go out and buy one but I am very impressed and I can’t believe how many people use them. Stay tuned for more air fryer creations if you give two hoots about it. Will also take recommendations of what to cook and how to cook it! (Keeping in mind, the simpler the better!)

23.01.2022 Another night another stir fry full of greens! Marinate chicken strips in soy, honey, garlic, and a little sesame oil (ideally overnight but a few hours in the fridge will do) you could also add ginger, lemon grass or chilli if you have any. Take chicken out of marinade and cook, add in greens of your choice (I used broccolini and bok choy) then tip in left over marinade in the last few minutes. Serve with rice or noodles and top with sesame seeds ... Delish! See more

23.01.2022 In case you haven’t heard - gyms and training studios in regional vic are allowed to reopen this Wednesday! I will be providing a more detailed update in the next few days but for now here is a little bit of info. One condition of gyms reopening is only allowing 1 person per 8 meters squared. This will limit me to only one person at a time inside the barn so sadly no pair/group sessions yet and obviously very strict sanitation and cleaning is required between every sess...ion. All pre paid clients will have first preference for all bookings and will be contacted directly. I will endeavour to rebook all of my pre paid clients before the end of the year but please understand that although gyms/studios are reopening, we are reopening with very strict density rules (8m squared space per person is going to be very difficult for some venues to offer/manage and for some may not be worth opening at all) and this will dramatically impact the way I and other facilities operate. So please be patient as I plan, coordinate and figure all of this out. I am very excited to get back into it though and can’t wait to have you all back! 22.01.2022 - BURPEES 4 BOOBS - Day 7 of burpee’s 4 boobs and I have been inspired and motivated by the all of the girls who have joined me so....... instead of 1000 burpee’s I am now doing 2000! Not only are we doing this to raise awareness for breast cancer but we are also raising money for research and treatment. 21.01.2022 So I thought I’d give this a go after seeing it all over socials the past few days. Verdict? Fucking amazing! How to: Feta, cherry tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and some ground pepper placed in an oven dish and cooked at 180 for 30-40 minutes. While that was cooking I diced up and cooked some chicken and also cooked some spiral pasta.... Pulled the feta out of the oven, added some freshly chopped basil, mixed it all up, added the chicken, some spinach and rocket then the pasta. That’s it! Chicken and greens was my own addition but you could add all sorts of delicious goodies! If you’ve been thinking about trying it - do it! You won’t regret it! See more

20.01.2022 Last day of term 3 done! Very proud of both of my girls What a roller coaster this year has been A HUGE thank you to all of the legendary teachers! My girls are very lucky to be part of such an amazing and supportive school. And a BIG well done to all of the homeschooling parents who I’m sure will be enjoying a drink (or 10) tonight! Now let’s all pray that there will never ever be any more homeschooling ever again!

20.01.2022 Alright so as the weather gets warmer I’ve had a few people asking for protein shake/smoothie recipes. Now to be honest I don’t have smoothies/shakes everyday but when I do this is my go to recipe! 200mls of almond milk 3 TBS of Oats 1 Frozen banana ... 2 x scoops of @happywayau vanilla protein A sprinkle of cinnamon Hand full of ice Smoothies are a great way to get lots of goodies in your tummy and are great when you’re busy (plus a good way to get kids to get some extra fruit/veg in their diet too) Always look for an all natural protein powder, (no artificial shit) adding in oats is a great way to get more fibre into your diet- great for your gut as well as helping you to feel fuller for longer and you can add whatever fruit you like! (I always add in frozen fruit to make it thicker!) If you have a go to smoothie recipe I’d love to hear it - Pop it in the comments below! 17.01.2022 I’m lost for words! (strange I know!) I received a message this morning from one of my clients to have a look outside.... and this is what I found!? An amazing blanket, hand made with my logo on it!! Have a look at it!!! I have placed the drink bottle on it for scale - cause it’s huge! ... And it’s the best thing I’ve ever been given! 16.01.2022 Don’t be fooled! I DO NOT look glamorous and glowing when I train like ever! I look like a hot mess and that’s only HALF WAY through a session! So you can imagine what I look like at the end! But, the most important thing is that I always put in 100% when I train. Some days that means I train like an absolute weapon and some days that means I go a little slower and a little easier.... Not every session has to wipe you out and not every session has to be the hardest one you’ve ever done - listen to your body and push as hard as you can at that particular time. Understand that some days you will blitz it and other days you won’t - and that’s ok! Moving your body in anyway is better than not moving at all and always give as much as you can to your workouts, whatever that may be because you will always feel good at the end knowing you gave it your all! AND Don’t underestimate the mental and emotional benefits of exercising - trust me! So go outside, move your body and enjoy the weekend! See more

Using the worlds easiest pancake recipe: 1 Egg 1 Cup of Milk... 1 Cup of SR Flour 1 tsp of vanilla extract And you can easily turn these into protein pancakes by using 2/3 cup of flour and 1/3 cup of protein powder. Top with fresh fruit and natural maple syrup Happy Thursday! See more

15.01.2022 A preview of this mornings session from our 8 week program - with a little burn added in Perform each Dumbbell exercise for 45 seconds with 15 second sprints on the assault bike in between each one. Go through each round twice - no rest! ... Exercises: Round 1 Squats Deadlifts Sumo Squats Glute Bridges (go through twice) Round 2 Chest Press Upright Rows Overhead Tricep Extensions Front and Lateral Raises (Go through twice) You can easily swap the assault bike for sprints (outside or treadmill) burpee’s or mountain climbers! Give it a go!

15.01.2022 My world One positive to come from this shit show of a year is more time at home with these guys! While I can’t wait to get back into my PT’s and actual face to face classes I am enjoying life being a little (a lot!) slower and moving forward I will be very mindful of how and where I put my time and energy. 14.01.2022 What a journey - pre workout, mid workout all the way to post workout. I’m back looking like the first picture now (add in a serious tomato face and some sweat) but as much as every workout hurts it always makes me feel good both inside and out, once it’s done! Every workout that I program for our Zoom Gals, I do with them. Supporting and encouraging each other as we go. (The best support crew a girl could ask for!) So if you haven’t moved your body today, do it now! You may end up looking like me in that last picture but you’ll feel amazing for doing it!

13.01.2022 As per the latest announcement of Stage 4 lockdown from the Victorian Government today, my gym (The Barn) will be closed for the next five days. This means no personal training sessions will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. A message has been sent out to all impacted PT clients. Stay strong everyone!

I have pledged to do 1000 burpee’s during the month of October to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research and treatment. While we all know burpee’s are one of the least loved exercises known to man, the discomfort from doing 1000 in the next 31 days is nothing in comparison to being diagnosed and receiving treatment for breast cancer. 10.01.2022 I’m not going to tell you to be happy or stay positive when I know so many people are struggling with the latest announcements from the government. I’m not here to pass judgement or blame anyone but what I would like to do is remind people to just be kind. Everyone is struggling in their own way. For some it’s the closure of their business (me!) or not being able to see the people they love (also me!), or it’s the toll this is taking on their mental health (me again!) We are all going through it! We are frustrated, we are tired, we are over it but does that give us the right to be shit humans? Just be nice - It has more impact than you think!

07.01.2022 Random but delicious dinner tonight! Chilli and garlic marinated chicken steaks, rocket and a mini bruschetta mix (feta, red onion, tomatoes and basil). I feel like you can never go wrong with basil and feta! I have been making an effort to include a lot more veg to my diet the past month or so as I got a little bit lazy with my eating through that second round of homeschooling. ... Being home more (than ever!) I found myself grazing more , eating at very random times and never eating a proper breakfast. (I probably, maybe, definitely drank more wine too) Getting the kids back to school and returning to work has definitely helped (the busier I am, the more organised I have to be) plus warmer weather means more bbq’s and salads - my favourite! If you’ve got an awesome salad recipe, you think I’d like - send it my way!

I am blown away by how many people sign up and actually want to train with me - particularly when there is no shortage of online fitness programs to chose from! 04.01.2022 As someone who has their own mental health battles at times and having watched and continue to watch people I love struggle too, this to me is more importantly than ever. Not only is it incredibly important to speak up if you’re struggling, it is just as important to check up on and reach out to those around us. Ask them how they’re going, offer support without judgment, be a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. Encourage them to seek help from a professional and continue to check in on them even when they seem ok Life is tough - especially at the moment. People are struggling more now than ever! So if you think someone you know seems different or if you know they’re struggling - ask them R U OK? For more information head to the R U OK website.

03.01.2022 These two little legends went back to school today! And I’m sure the coffee shops/cafes & pubs would’ve been FULL of Mum’s today! Now let’s all pray that gyms will get given the green light to reopen soon and PT’s can recommence in The Barn ...
