24.01.2022 A new era! I haven’t led worship in years! I got to lead a song in our first Chapel service today! It was so good to be cheered on by my @glowschoolofministry crew and encouraged by so many of my @glowchurchgc family! What a privilege to sing and worship God! @eliza__flowers
22.01.2022 Dip in the ocean at sunrise! One of the payoffs of an early night is to rise early and take in the sunrise and the beach to ourselves! This makes my soul sing! @kerrielanyon
20.01.2022 I’m progressing really well to date! Surpassing previous PR’s but I have a feeling I may need to back off a bit so I can recover from some twinges in my left glute. I’ve upped the ante to improve my conditioning and flexibility and add some extra cardio to my routine for the next 3-4 months to drop 3 dress sizes. So to translate for you all... TBD = trapbar deadlift 95 kg for 12 is equal to 131 kg 1RM (1 rep max) CD = Conventional deadlift 100 kg for 6 (after doing 3 sets ...of 92.5 for 6) - equivalent to 119 1RM BP = Bench press (today was my second training session for a long time as we’ve been waiting on gear) 47.5 kg for 6 isn’t too shabby. 56 kg 1RM My pride and joy today is even with a twinge in my glute I did a 2 year PR of 87.5 for 6 (my comp PR is 100 kg 1 rep Max in June 2018) it’s now 104 kg 1RM. Squatting is my favourite by far. After doing this set of 87.5 for 6, I did 2 sets of 10 at 70 kg. I am loving the coaching I receive from Sandy @empoweredstrengthbysandy and the extra bonus is the other ladies I have in Sandy’s community. I’m keeping this in its place. Not allowing it to be an obsession just a way to keep myself healthy and mobile and active.

10.01.2022 Tonight a 24 year old dream came to fruition. 24 years and a few weeks ago I was at a leaders retreat with my church Set Free. We were having some free time between sessions. I was lying down having a rest. As I lay there God spoke to me about having a son who was called to preach and carry an anointing to bring breakthrough. Tonight Ryley was one of the Young Adult Preachers at @dc.church, preaching for the first time. This was the vision God gave me of my son before he ...was born. A few short years ago, he shared publicly in church how God healed his ankle and was baptised. I held his hand as was fully immersed. I have seen my highly introverted boy, grow into a man after God’s own heart! He’s a big softie like the other men of my family. Tonight he not only shared a brief and emotional message but brought the presence of the Holy Spirit. As I listened I thought back to before he was even conceived and the promise of this very day. It reminded me of the scripture: Psalm 139:13-16 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marveloushow well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalms 139:13-16 NLT

09.01.2022 Today @goldie.the.unchicken and I went to Stafford Heights State School to read the story and teach the kids Goldie’s song and dance! We met 4 classes who loved meeting Goldie and giving her high fives! We were invited by prep teacher Heidi Joseph with whom I attended church and youth group many years ago. Heidi said her class was raving about Goldie the rest of the day and singing the song. This is the beginning of #Bookweek where the them is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds. We have a bunch of other schools we are visiting this week. #Goldiessong #iambrave #iamcourageous

02.01.2022 Goldie and I have visited 4 schools this week as part of the #Bookweek celebrations. Monday - Stafford Heights State School, Wednesday - King’s College at Pimpama, Thursday - Nerang State School and Friday - Canungra State School. The students were all so well behaved and asked lots of interesting questions like Where was Goldie born? Did you write the book to entertain or inform? Are you famous?Don’t eagles eat chickens?
