20.01.2022 We practice mindfulness to allow our minds to be as the sky. The clouds, rain, winds, sleet, snow, rainbows, come and go, but the sky remains the same, a backdrop for all these passing phenomena. In the same way, all our feelings, thoughts and sensations are like the weather that passes through, without affecting the nature of the sky itself. In this way, our minds can be balanced and centered, without getting carried away by every passing storm.

14.01.2022 The course starts this Wednesday. Please contact us with any questions :)

08.01.2022 Q Why not Toastmasters A. Unlike Toastmasters, which is also excellent over a much longer period of time: This course is designed for women supporting other women to overcome any fears they may have that prevent them from doing themselves justice in personal and professional settings; It aims to give women more confidence to speak up in mixed groups e.g. work situations, where there may be a tendency for some women to defer to men; Public Speaking is said to be the num...ber 1 fear in Western culture, this course is small, safe and very supportive - where women are encouraged to connect with and to master the inner voices that make public speaking challenging for them; Women are encouraged to give a talk in every session and after each presentation, the other group members give her written feedback which focusses on her present strengths and also on tips for future presentations; Over the six sessions the main aspects of public speaking are covered. 07.01.2022 I did Jessica’s Mindfulness course many years ago and found her teaching of a simple yet challenging practice very enriching. Jessica brings wisdom, grace, and authenticity to all her teachings. I highly recommend this course. Keli Wainwright, Psychologist, Psych Essentials

04.01.2022 The practice of mindfulness simply means letting go of struggle and attachment, so we can rest in a state of equilibrium called 'being here now.' It is a meditative practice, where we focus our attention upon our experience from moment to moment - embracing it, without judgement, before taking skilful action.
