18.01.2022 *IMPORTANT UPDATE IN REGARDS TO THE TRANSPORT OF BRACHYCEPHALIC BREEDS OF DOGS, CATS AND RABBITS* You may be aware that Qantas have announced a temporary suspension of brachycephalic pets on the Qantas network whilst they conduct an internal investigation. We have now received information that the Virgin network will also be conducting their own review effective midnight Thursday 23rd of January.... Unfortunately we have been advised that no new reservations will be confirmed for brachycephalic pets during the review period. However existing bookings with Jetpets will be honoured. Please contact us directly with any questions or concerns at all. As always, pet welfare is at the heart of everything we do and we will work to provide the best transport options for you and your furry family member.

These lucky pets are the first pets to travel between Australia and New Zealand in the last 6 weeks, and been quite some time in planning A big shout out to the Qantas Freight team, Jetpets NZ, Ministry of Primary Industry NZ, NZ Customs, Air NZ Cargo Terminal and Qualified Pets Quarantine in Auckland for making this magic happen, its been a... huge team effort More to follow on this special move soon. We have also had some good news that Air New Zealand are opening up flights for pets to New Zealand (to and from certain ports only). Our team is currently working diligently to contact our existing customers to secure space on these flights and reunite them with their much loved pets as soon as possible. Our team is also working behind the scenes with all of our airline partners around the world in the hope that flights to other destinations will become available soon While the services are currently limited, our team is also available to quote and provide information for you to begin the preparations for your pet to travel internationally in the future. We hope that they find loving furever homes very quickly
