15.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day and during times of uncertainty it’s more important than ever to take care of your physical and mental wellbeing. Here’s just a few of the benefits your body experiences when you workout! Exercise drives the growth of new nerve cells and causes mood-improving neurotransmitters such as serotonin and norepinephrine to stay in the system for longer.... If you like to run, you’ll discover it reduces stress and elevates mood over the long term through increased levels of tryptophan paralleled by increased levels of serotonin. Staying fit triggers creative thinking as your brain associates forward motion with the future, stimulating creativity great news for times like these! Don’t just go through the motions, check out jettsathome.jetts.com.au for workout ideas, live stream workouts and nutrition and mindfulness inspiration. Remember, it’s never too early to start looking after your mental health and wellbeing, there is no health without mental health!

07.01.2022 Satisfy your cravings with a healthier substitute! If you’re craving cakes and all things chocolate then we’ve got just the treat for you! 1 Preheat oven 180 deg C + grease a 12-slot standard size muffin tray.... 2 Thoroughly drain can of black beans. 3 Add all the ingredients into a food processor (Do not include date caramel yet) and puree for about 1-2 minutes scraping down sides as needed. You want it pretty smooth. 4 Add batter to muffin tray and smooth the tops with a spoon. 5 Add 1 tsp date caramel to each brownie and carefully swirl with a toothpick or knife. If you’re feeling creative; top with coconut shavings, pecans and a few more chocolate chips. 6 Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tops are dry and edges start to pull away from the sides. 7 Remove from the oven and let cool for 20-30 minutes, They will be tender, so gently run a knife around the sides, and then lift out with a fork. 8 The insides are meant to be fudgy, so don't be concerned if they seem too moist. Enjoy with additional date caramel (optional, if desired). They would also be delicious with some Fropro or Halotop ice cream Store completely cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to a few days. Will keep in the freezer up to 1 month. If you enjoyed this recipe be sure to check out more at jettslife.jetts.com.au & jettsathome.jetts.com.au
