17.01.2022 It doesnt get more fundamental than a box squat. Box squatting is arguably one of the best movements for your body and a movement we use almost every day sitting up and out of our chair, toilet or under a barbell and its something we need to practice. Not only does box squatting carry over into a lot of other movements in your workout, but its also helps with muscle growth in your lower body and nervous system development. In short, having a box under your squat means... you cant rely on momentum to lift or lower your squat. This means you have to generate a lot of power and all of a sudden. This is good news for your muscles and nervous system and one of just one of many reasons why box squatting is so highly recommended. #jetts #jettslife #jettsfitness

You cant get around this fact and no workout, supplements or even drugs will pack muscle on your body if you arent eating enough. Full article here https://bit.ly/31lraZ1 In my experience a true hardgainer needs to consume about 1000 more calories than they burn in order to see some weight gain. ... TRACK YOUR INTAKE In order to apply this advice, you must learn to track your food so that you know definitively how many calories you need. If you dont do this you are guessing at best. PROTEIN I usually round up for hardgainers to 2 grams of protein per kilo of bodyweight. In other words, if you weight70 kilos you should aim for 140g of protein per day. Once you hit that 2 grams of protein per kilo of body weight goal, eat extra calories in the form of carbohydrates and fats. Once you figure out your total calorie goal, try to get at least 30-40% of your calories from carbs. Example 70kg male should consume 3000 calories a day (12,500kj) which is roughly 225 to 300 grams of carbohydrates per day. FATS Dont be afraid of fats! Eat them up! My recommendation is to make fat account for about 15-30% of your calories. Example This means a 70kg male who is consuming 3000 calories (12,500 KJ) should have 50-100 grams of fat a day. 13.01.2022 5 Minute Mindfulness Exercise. How often during your day are you not distracted? How often are you not working? Not watching Netflix. Not on social media. Not working out. Not eating. Not talking. Not sleeping. Just being.... Rarely? Lets start a quick meditation exercise. 1. Find your spot. Preferably outside near some trees or water. And sit. 2. Breathe deep breaths. 3. Look to the horizon. 4. Focus on a particular spot, but not staring at anything in particular. 5. Try to expand your peripheral vision to encapsulate as much of your vision as you can. 6. Then just notice. Is there a breeze in the leaves? What sounds do you hear? Can you feel the supportive ground? 7. Breathe. 8. Sit in this wide gaze for as long as you wish. As you may/may not be aware, the Government still has not provided any clear indication of when this will happen, despite Jetts and Fitness Australia's consistent lobbying. Since 1st Aug, all 24/7 gyms have been unable to operate 24/7 due to the Government mandate to have a covid marshall present at all operating times. This covid marshall requirement... alone has doubled our wage costs. Not to mention, the added costs of daily covid-cleaning the whole club. Additionally, we are operating our club with a significant reduction in membership revenue due to the scores of North Sydney-based businesses requiring their employees to work from home. Therefore, the sooner we can operate 24/7 , the sooner we can operate as a more sustainable health club that supports our North Sydney members to keep fit, healthy and thrive during these tougher times! Thats why if your glutes are tight, you might feel tension not only in your buttocks, but also in your back, hips, and surrounding areas. Stretching your glutes can also increase your flexibility and range of motion, reducing risk of injury. If youre new to stretching in general, begin slowly never force a stretch! ... Start by holding each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds and dont forget to b r e a t h e. Choc Peanut Butter Protein Balls 4 tbsp peanut butter 2 tbsp honey... 1 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder 2 tbsp cacao or cocoa Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
