20.01.2022 Ok so this morning at 8am Scott, Jaz and Tom weight in, everyone was on weight ( yay ). They start fighting at 12 noon today at the PCYC in Edmonton so come d...own and support our novice group of fighters. Jigsaw would like to thank everyone who has help prepare these guys , turning up to training so they have partners and those who step in the cage and sparred them. What ever the outcome is we are super proud of them. See more

14.01.2022 Japan Day of Hope this year will raise funds for children in Fukushima suffering from nuclear radiation. A recent study revealed that 44.2 percent of 94,975 children sampled had thyroid ultrasound abnormalities, some of whom suspected to have thyroid cancer as a result of radiation, and two teenagers have already been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Please come join us and raise funds for a worthy cause. Organised this year by Japanese Community Association in Cairns, Australia. See you today

11.01.2022 Today if your not busy we are donating our time at the Freshwater Fete. We are running our famous game......... HUNGRY HUMAN HIPPOS all monies raised will go to the school. We will be there from 3pm til 7pm so come down and say hi and support this event.

10.01.2022 I was super proud to give Zachary Navman Longshark his Blue belt this afternoon. hundreds of people try Jiu Jitsu, and lots of people 'train' Jiu Jitsu but not ...every one has what it takes to achieve one. Lots of people know arm bars and chokes and positions they are not blue belts, perhaps they know 100 different ways to tap someone out... they are still not a blue belt, Being a blue blue is about how you move when the pressure is on, when your being pushed by another skilled opponent, there is no faking Jiu Jitsu it is revealing and honest. some of Zacks achievements were (im sure I'll miss some); open weight gi white belt North Qld. champion, Open weight gi white belt South east Qld. champion 73 kg gi white NQ champ (multiple times) 73 kg nogi white NQ champ (multiple times) 73 kg gi white SEQ champ 73 kg nogi white SEQ champ 73 kg nogi 3rd place at the Aus champions cup. The 73kg blue belt division just got a lot harder to win in FNQ
