19.01.2022 On Wednesday the 17th April we signed a lease with Logan City council for our plot of land at Sturdee Park Loganlea. This has been the culmination of 2 years of planning. I would like to thank Councillor Jon Raven and Ellen Beaumont from Logan City Council who have assisted and supported us. I would also like to thank our hard working committee members and our local community supporters that have worked behind the scenes to help make this day happen. Now the fun bit begins, the building of the garden

05.01.2022 Tuesday 18 Feb a group us went over to help our friends at The Adventist Springwood Community Garden. We have established a mutually beneficial relationship over the last 12 months with them. The morning was spent dis-infecting propagation trays and the propagation house for food growing. Also two pallets of mushroom compost was put into all the garden beds ready to be dug in next week. The compost came straight from a mushroom farm, so we were able to harvest mushrooms from it. Meanwhile on our site at Loganlea we are getting ready to put a shipping container in for storage by the end of March. 2020 is going to a big year for us so stay following us. We will be making announcements each month as the year progresses.
