25.01.2022 The Power of Consistency When Kieran first came to Stingrays, he could not swim Butterfly. You might just thought oh yeah whatever? NO you are wrong. Watch the first video. That was his Butterfly in June 2018. He could swim other strokes fine but Butterfly wasn't his thing! But he was determined so he came to training as often as he could. Coach Cathy spent a lot of time to teach Kieran. She even got her daughters, Kiani and Sharne in water to teach Kie...ran. Second video was taken Feb 2019. Yes he isn't fast, his kicks are not strong but started to look like Butterfly. Nov 2019, he came first in Butterfly at a swim meet at Tweed. But Kieran wasn't satisfied, it is his nature - give him something he can't do, he will do it. It may take time but he will do it! He knew he could do a lot better, he knew his kicks weren't strong enough. So he continued to train. Last video was from Feb 21 RMHC Sprint Championships. See how his hip come up a lot higher and his kicks are a lot stronger? Yes he has a lot more to work on but we can definitely see the improvement. Consistency is the key to success. Consistency leads to habits. Habits form the actions we take every day. Action leads to success. It's a long road. It will be hard, even harder when initial excitement and enthusiasm wear off. But trust in the process, keep working and you will get there! Please see all video in comments

13.01.2022 Due to the decline in numbers of people attending swimming, it has unfortuneately been decided that the pool will be closed as of Saturday 28th March. We will be open until Friday afternoon as per usual. Please make arrangement before then to finalize your account with Kim at the pool. We look forward to re-opening and seeing everyone soon
