23.01.2022 A cool, cool morning and not a fish to be seen

21.01.2022 Sometimes it’s nice to just sit, chill and enjoy the experience. Balmy evening, beautiful location, peace & quiet = serenity Narooma: Beautiful one day .

20.01.2022 It was almost time to pack the gear up and try and find my way back to the car. I had a funny feeling things might liven up a little if I stuck around a little more. and they did. Despite the mozzies and the sight of a not so shy huge kangaroo hovering nearby, I decided to take the chance and set up near this billabong. What a beautiful evening it turned out to be. Finding my way back to the car ???? Well, that’s another story.

19.01.2022 Hi all, If you’re interested, I thought I’d let you know that Blog #3 has now been published on my website. It involves yours truly, lots of crocs, a prehistoric lake, an ancient aboriginal cave and a bloke named Tony. Was it the right thing to do in accepting what I thought could have been a really bad decision in accepting a ride with a stranger ? If you have the time, please click on the link below as I’d love to know what you would have done. https://www.overlandphotography.com.au//strongno-one-knows

15.01.2022 I was finally able to drag myself out of bed on what was a very cold, very windy Sunday morning. Covid-19 has ensured that I, like many others, complied with the Govt regs and stayed indoors to help keep us all safe. Well, what a day to bust out ! The waves were between 5-8 metres in height and extremely dangerous. But to look at this image, you could be forgiven in thinking it was just another calm and peacful day.

14.01.2022 After a 90 minute drive, the temperature gauge was showing 0 degrees when I finally arrived at my location just before light. I was hopeful of a little mist or fog so I was quite keen to get organised and head off to the river. It was a short and easy walk and even though I was rugged up, my nose and lips felt like they were about to drop off. Needless to say, I was in a hurry to score my first image of the morning. I was fortunate enough to find a little mist hovering over the river and it was just enough to give this scene a little atmosphere. Now where is that hot thermos of coffee !

08.01.2022 I'm feeling quite humbled after receiving some very kind comments on the launch of Overland Photography. So thank you to all ! I'm now looking forward to being able to getting out and finally taking some images now as things start to ease with Corona-19 lock-downs. Thank you again !

04.01.2022 It started off being a peaceful and serene morning sitting by the river and enjoying some breakfast. But then the winds started to pick up a little and the clouds started to roll in. The whole scene changed dramatically. Distant lightning and the faint sound of thunder was a hint for me to get off my backside and head for the car. It was so nice while it lasted.

02.01.2022 The creek wasn't running all that fast and it was low enough for me to set up the tripod in the middle. (Yes, it was chilly and yes, I did get wet). It was shortly after sunrise and as the scene began to open up, I couldn't help wondering how the fallen log to my side came to be in the creek. Was it the result of a storm ?
