19.01.2022 When it comes to sealing a bathroom properly, we don't caulk around! Silicone work is one of the more difficult things to do when finishing a bathroom off and can really make or break a tiling job. It's for this reason we chose to do this in-house as it's very hard to undo a bad job! We also seal each individual grout line with a stain inhibitor to ensure the job looks just as good in 20 years time. 18.01.2022 On the Kingsley renovation project we pitched the idea to our clients of flipping the glass screen to the toilet instead of the shower. This gave us two advantages. The biggeat advantage was that the shower is now 120mm wider than it was before when there were walls in place, which as we know is huge when it comes to a shower space. The other was that it creates a much more open feel to the room and our clients got the open shower they dreamed of. Needless to say they were ve...ry happy they trusted in our 20+ years of design, renovation and building experience and they love the new layout! There's some big changes to the look of the Kitchen, Living and Ensuite areas I think you'll agree. Here's a snippet of just some of the work completed to create such inviting, modern spaces - Garage/Kitchen doorway moved to the centr...e of the garage for better access and to create a key/baggage drop area in the Kitchen. Kitchen window replaced with a fixed full pane of glass behind the sink for an improved aspect to the patio. Totally redesigned and upgraded Kitchen featuring an integrated dining table, state of the art Siemens appliances, strip lighting, Euro Cargo bin, internal drawers and lighting the pantry and integration of the freestanding fridge plus so much more! Removal of the existing fireplace and full lining of all face brickwork with gyprock plus new cornice. Upgraded downlights to modern LEDs as well as an updated electrical switchboard and appliance circuit's, along with a pop-up power point with wireless charging integrated into the Kitchen benchtop Toilet brick walls removed from the Ensuite and replaced with glass partitioning on order to gain space for the open shower and give a more open appeal. We have altered the existing floor plan, with the addition of a separate toilet accessible from the Laundry, which means the shower and toilet can now be used at the same time in separate rooms for privacy and guests.
