14.01.2022 NSW has announced a new system for selecting applicants for nomination for Subclass 190 visas and it appears that a new NSW occupations list will be released this week. NSW nomination process in 2015 NSW is introducing a selection-based invitation process in 2015. This will be implemented from February 2015 onwards.... Under the selection and invitation process for the 190 program, prospective candidates can only apply for NSW nomination if they have been selected from Skill Select and invited by NSW Trade & Investment. NSW will be sourcing and selecting candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect and indicated that they wish to be considered for NSW nomination for a 190 visa. The selection process will be competitive. NSW will rank candidates based on core criteria which is: firstly, a candidates DIBP points score, then their English ability, and then their skilled employment. Where candidates score the same on these core criteria at time of selection, they will be further ranked based on the date and time that their EOI was submitted in SkillSelect. The top-ranking candidates will be the first to be invited to apply and NSW will determine how many invitations are issued on an ongoing basis. The 2015 NSW Occupations list will be published in the first week of February 2014. 03.01.2022 Streamlined student visa processing Under the streamlined student visa processing arrangements, eligible student visa applicants from participating education providers are not assigned an assessment level. If you are eligible for streamlined visa processing you will generally have reduced evidentiary requirements, similar to those that apply under Assessment Level 1, regardless of your country of origin. You must meet all of the following requirements to be eligible for streamlined student visa processing: At the time of making your student visa application, you must have a Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) with an education provider participating in the streamlined visa processing arrangements for a: Advanced diploma Bachelor degree Masters degree Doctoral degree Non-award university student exchange program Non-award study abroad program. If you enroll in a package of courses, all your preliminary courses must be at an education provider participating in the streamlined visa processing arrangements or a nominated educational business partner of that provider.
