25.01.2022 It’s time for the interview! So what is a Job Interview? It’s a chance for the employer to find out about you (and the kind of person you are). It’s a time to see if you are suitable for the job, and for the employer to ask you about your skills, qualifications and experience. Also, they will be looking to see how you will get along with other staff. If you have any questions about the job, now is a good time ask them.

If you are working at the moment or have worked in the last 12 months your employer will give you a Group Certificate in the next few weeks. A Group Certificate can also be called a PAYG Payment Summary and it details how much money you have earned and any tax that you have paid over the last year. 05.01.2022 After the interview! Remember to CONGRATULATE yourself for doing the interview and for your preparation beforehand Have a think about how you went while it is fresh in your head be honest with yourself and ask yourself these questions: 1. Was my appearance suitable? 2. How did I act (enthusiastic, polite, confident)?... 3. How well did I communicate (did I speak well and answer their questions clearly)? 4. How well prepared was I? Finally, think about the things you need to improve on and which interview questions you need to practice more. (*hint write your answers down, so you can refer back to them later).

Is a uniform or safety gear provided *Hint: Write your questions on a small card and take it in to the interview with you!! See more

01.01.2022 Congratulations, you have got an interview. If you can, do a trial run going there. This way you won't get lost and will know how long it takes. The day before make sure your clothes are clean and ironed, your shoes polished. On the day of your interview, have a shower, shave (men), put on your deodorant, make-up (ladies) do your hair and put on your already cleaned and ironed clothes. Leave with plenty of time to get there.... Good luck. See more
