19.01.2022 If all the women in the world were 100 women, then 19 cannot read. I can't imagine a life where I can't read! Education changes lives!

17.01.2022 Our global education programs help children explore what life is like for children living in poor communities overseas. This includes workshops on how everyday items are used differently; from food, to toys, to sports equipment. In the below video, The New York Times talks to a Congolese man making soccer balls out of plastics bags and strings, a big difference between Australia and some African countries we talk about in our workshops. Click the video below to find out more.

17.01.2022 Big thanks to: St Kevin's Primary School, Ormond Carnegie Primary School Carey Baptist Grammar School - Donvale Campus Mt Eliza Primary... for collectively raising over $22,500 during their Just One Day challenges!!! Through a workshop, they learned how poverty affects the lives of children in developing countries and how lucky they are to live in Australia. AND that they can be part of the solution for kids in classrooms like the pic below, who need an education to help break the cycle of poverty. If this inspires you, contact us by clicking the blue button above. Well done, everyone!

13.01.2022 Just One Day and Just Like Me? are passionate about girls' education! So we're now offering a NEW session that includes the story of inspirational activist Malala, a focus on equal opportunities for girls and boys, and the importance of keeping girls in school. When your school runs this program, you'll also receive the teen edition of "I Am Malala" for your library. AND you'll be supporting girls just like these.... Interested? Contact us today! #iammalala #girlseducation

08.01.2022 I went to Dana Street Primary School last week for a Just One Day workshop. Students were super excited and engaged with what they learned, feeling very lucky to go to school in Australia instead of a country like Uganda. And they were intrigued and shocked by Malala's story during the NEW session on girls' education. They received a teen edition of "I Am Malala", and many students were so inspired that they've asked to read it in their classes! They're currently raising fund...s for INA's education programs - so, good luck! - Corlien See more
