24.01.2022 Thinking of all my clients today, who were affected by last years fires. A year on a lot of you who I have spoken to have many feelings coming to surface as this date came closer. I know there has been massive community support around you. In this year where there have been many other trails & tribulations, I want you to know you are not forgotten and we stand by you. 20.01.2022 Dear Clients With the recent updates to covid19 restrictions the Government has issued. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to reopen again until 1st of December. As normal thing's may change & i will keep everyone posted. I understand the inconvenience to you & your families. Once again all I can ask for is your patience. Let's hope we are back to our New Normal Soon!

17.01.2022 Hi Hope everyone is doing well. This is a message to my current clients. Due to restrictions on number's in an indoor space & other restrictions on use of facilities within the swimming pool room. I have decided to aim for a term 3 reopen. Fingers crossed by then we can open up as close to normal as possible with less restrictions. Anyone who was on my books for term 1 will be contacted near the end of June & from there we can confirm what you want to do for term 3 and any changes that need to be made. As normal if you have any questions please contact me via phone or business PM.

14.01.2022 Effective from 17th of November All Classes will be suspended for two weeks. In light of the current covid19 situation all lessons will be suspended. This is in line with the directive from the government. This will be for a period of two weeks. As we all know from last time these are developing situations so things may change. I encourage you to keep updated via my business facebook page. I will contact people personally as I normally do. Stay Safe and hope to see you all soon.

14.01.2022 To all of my families & staff I'm sending my thoughts to you over this time. Everyones health is clearly the main priority here & if anyone has been effected health wise I'm sending my love. I know many of you run your own businesses which will be effected along with other people who's employment has also suffered. I know this will be a challenging time & if anyone needs to talk my phone is on. To my clients who hadn't heard from me regarding re opening this clearly is now null and void due to current circumstances. I will be in contact regarding re opening once we know what is happening. Over this period of being closed i will contact people regarding next term so that lesson's can be finalised for my current clients. We are sending love & thoughts to you all. 13.01.2022 Dear Clients All going well we will recommence swimming on Tuesday 1st of December. I will be doing catch up lessons from Monday 14th of December to Saturday 19th of December. This is the first week of school holidays this week will catch up week 6 of term 4 cancelled lessons. In regards to week 7 cancelled lessons I will update Clients about this next week.

12.01.2022 Well Happy 10th Anniversary to me! Ten years ago I quit my full time job & did a complete 180 to start my business. I was working three jobs making less the $400 a week thinking what on earth have I done & in the beginning I thought I had made a big mistake. I was volunteering at many swim schools to get as much experience as I could along with trying to build up my client base and still working my other job to get consistent cash flow. I think back to going to every primar...y school, childcare centre i could think of to hand out flyers & putting up signs on notice boards to promote my business. I had a lot of people around me saying I wasn't going to make. I am just lucky I've been raised by a strong mother & have a couple of female friends in business who really gave me support. It wasn't until around two years in I thought this is actually happening it's going to work. I've always been highly critical of myself and everything I do work related. It's perfection or nothing, which at times has put me under unnecessary pressure. Even to this day if a class doesn't go the way I wanted i will get out of the pool and work out how I can do it differently the next week. I have been very lucky to have been able to run my business in a lovely community & have an amazing client base. The biggest Thankyou goes out to you. Without you none of this would be possible. 11.01.2022 I would like to thank the Hahndorf Country Fire Service for having me down at the station & showing me around & showing me how their new camera works! For Christmas 2019 on behalf of the students at my swimming school I made a donation which enabled the station to buy a thermal imaging camera. This camera will go in their 4-wheel drive rural appliances & can help them assess dangerous hot spots, conduct people searches and safely assess many other situations. I encourage others when thinking about gifts they look into donations to their local community & other organisations as a way to give back while still giving.

10.01.2022 With the new ease of restrictions & businesses reopening. At this stage it looks like learn to swim classses MAY NOT fall into this category to reopen. I will keep trying to get clarification over the weekend from authorities & my industry. I ask for your patience as I want to do the right thing by my clients & also legally.

These times are suitable for children over the age of 7 years old who have had swimming lessons previously & have started freestyle backstroke & possibly breaststroke. Monday 3:30 Tuesday 6pm... Wednesday 5pm Thursday 6pm Friday 4:30pm Saturday 12pm These times are suitable for children over 3 year's of age a parent would need to get in with the child. Tuesday 11:30am Thursday 10am Thursday 11am Thursday 11:30am Saturday 11am

07.01.2022 As of today Jodie's Swimming School re opens. We start back in what is the new normal for this term. For all my families starting this week, I am opening in a cautious careful way with limited numbers. I've sent all information through to clients regarding our new rules. ... 1. Sanitize as you come in, use shoe cleaner & wash, physical distance 1.5m. Everyone must sign in on each lesson for contacting tracing. 2. Although the change room is open. I ask where possible people bring a robe, so you can towel off & pop a robe on go. 3. Where possible please use seating outside to keep numbers down in swimming pool room. I understand this is all new & different. Also that other activities may have different standards. Swimming and Sports Centres have different guidelines in their Covid safe plan. The important thing is that we stay safe and use best practices. Kind regards Jodie

06.01.2022 Due to covid19 restrictions as of tomorrow all lessons are suspended until further notice. I need a chance to get through all the information as I've just finished swimming now to advise you how this effects swimming centres going forward. I will be in contact with all my clients personally once I have a chance.

05.01.2022 To all my clients PLEASE be careful when coming through our driveway. The large gumtree directly opposite our driveway on the cnr of Hufendorf Ln & Echunga rd has dropped a large branch it just cracked off and is being barely held by other branches will definitely do a lot of damage or worse if it comes down. I have called SES but due to the hight they can't get it until it comes down. SES has called the council I've also just called the police but they say there is nothing they can do either.

This involves wiping over surfaces for covid clean. Along with occasional giving out of paperwork to clients. Morning & Afternoon shifts along with Saturday's available.
