13.01.2022 Answer: We are maintaining current service levels for Accreditation, Vehicle Standards, Registration services and Access Permits. Australia’s truck drivers and ...operators have shown enormous resilience through bush fires, floods and cyclones, ensuring the supply of fresh food and essential supplies. It is our priority that they can continue to do so. During this time please be patient when using these services as our staff, service providers or road managers may be impacted. You can use the NHVR Portal to prepare, lodge and track your applications or requests and there is an Information Request feature to ask questions or raise issues with us. You can access the portal here - https://bit.ly/3bjwCxQ Like all businesses, the NHVR has planned for disruptions, but we are committed to processing applications and requests as quickly as possible. Please be patient during this time as we work towards a safe and productive heavy vehicle industry. #NHVR

13.01.2022 Additional clarification from Main Roads WA regarding remote audits for WAHVA Operators. (Extract from Main Roads WA email through to all WAHVA Auditors and Accredited Operators) A remote audit requires the transport operator to provide sufficient paperwork and records to their WAHVA Auditor to allow a WAHVA audit to be completed. After a period of six (6) months, an onsite audit will need to be completed.... An onsite audit will only be required if an operator is unable to provide remote access to all required documentation. If an operator is able to provide all required documentation for a remote audit, a six (6) month follow up on site audit is not required. Operators will need to advise HVS that they are electing to take up the remote audit option, provide the date of their upcoming audit and nominate their WAHVA Auditor. This advice should be sent to : [email protected] Operators no longer have to apply for approval to have a remote audit conducted. If at this time they would like to take up the option of a remote audit they simply send an email to [email protected] advising so and provide us with the details above. #transport #roadtransport #logistics #audits #safety #compliance #covid19update #mainroadswa
