22.01.2022 A little more about me: My point of difference as a mortgage broker is my genuine empathy for customers of all walks of life, whether they are borrowing $50,000 or $2,000,000. Customer’s situations are always unique and all customers deserve to be treated as unique individuals. In the entertainment industry, they talk about opening night principle and even if I’ve already interviewed several customers that day, the next customer deserves the best personalised service human...ly possible and that’s what I always strive to provide. My advice and recommendations always take the customers circumstances, needs, and requirements into consideration as the number 1 priority. I always take the time to understand what is really important to them and make sure the whole application and settlement process revolves around them. Educating customers and making sure they understand the process (whether refinancing or purchasing a property) is another key point of difference. Having an engaged customer who is informed and understands the process means that they feel empowered and are an active partner in the application. Communication is a vital factor in this and explaining the processes in language the customer can understand is crucial. He always aims to make the whole experience as smooth as possible by using outstanding communication and process planning. He enjoys working with first-time borrowers and investors as well as helping sophisticated investors with large borrowings and complex needs. John and his wife have been in their own home since ...2002 and purchased their first investment property in 2013. He describes it as taking his financial future into his own hands and hasn’t looked back. The second property came in 2015 and brought a feeling of having real financial security whilst building wealth for retirement. He loves passing on his experience to new investors and is a big believer in helping others achieve their dreams. John believes in being grateful for every day and in the power of a good attitude and hard work for success and happiness in all areas of life. He has beaten serious cancer twice since 2002 and has now been cancer free for over 12 years. He now helps cancer patients through his involvement in cancer support groups.
