25.01.2022 A leaf on one of the paths around the Yarra River

24.01.2022 I've mentioned before that I love minimalism in photography. Another of my fork photos I captured some time ago.

23.01.2022 A side road and about 200-300m off the Cobb Hwy. This landscape can challenge a photographer. Sometimes it takes pure luck to get an image; or exquisite planning to be in the right spot at the right time; knowing the landscape and environment helps. I’ve revisited the plains at lease once a year for the past few years, and I find there is plenty to see, and photograph. Just need more time . . . At the right time :D Not sure how this edit will be, as I’m editing in Lightroom for the iPad. Hopefully, it will be ok.

23.01.2022 I've noticed that since I started posting on Mondays, most of the photographs have been of models or still life subjects. Very few landscape. This photograph was taken at Hopetoun Falls in Victoria's Otways, a few years ago. Although I have posted a similar photo on this page, this version is a new edit. A

22.01.2022 A shot taken just outside my front door a few days ago.

17.01.2022 More autumn colours from Bright, Victoria

14.01.2022 Black and white landscapes are always good. Especially when they contain flowing water.

13.01.2022 The other day I bought some flowers to play around with and this is a mono version of the set-up I came up with.

13.01.2022 A black and white of Albury's iconic War Memorial, just 10 min walk from my place

13.01.2022 Rob's challenge for this image, was through the window

11.01.2022 A few years ago I travelled to Paddy's River Falls. Since the trip, I've been following the trends in photography via social media and felt that this image would be great converted to low key.

11.01.2022 I've been working on a number of projects since July, 2020. Today, working with my studio set-up, I captured a handful of photographs. One aspect of photography I'm working on, is keeping compositions simple. When I moved the fridge a couple of weeks ago, I found this long forgotten memory of the last time I won a prize at an exhibition. So, today it became my subject. The flower is one I've kept for some time. Old, desiccated, but still retaining some colour; placed in a wire egg cup.

10.01.2022 An exercise in lighting and composites

10.01.2022 Shapes and textures on a rapidly eroding coastline. An early morning shoot at Point Nepean; dealing with closed gates and falling rain. But, being out in a long time was definitely worth it.

07.01.2022 Over the past couple of months, I've been busy with a couple of projects. One is making my own pinhole camera; shooting on film then processing the negatives using coffee. The second is converting my DSLR into a pinhole camera, which allows me to edit using Lightroom and Photoshop if required. These are just two I've captured. The B&W image is captured on film using a matchbox camera and the colour image is from my DSLR. The negative was developed using coffee and scanned ...in as a JPEG by Camerahouse, Albury. Very little editing has been done to either picture. See more

06.01.2022 One of the few times in nearly 2 years that I've been out to capture some landscape images. I've found that even a flat, seemingly featureless plain has plenty of subjects to shoot. But, it's great just to be out with the camera. PS: The flies are bad

03.01.2022 A challenge in composites and floating objects in a studio

03.01.2022 For another challenge, I decided to photograph a small statue of Buddha.

03.01.2022 Childhood Lost Once a beloved childhood toy, now is detritus. Ephemeral, discarded remnants of a past life, finds a home amongst the discarded waste of human existence. Located in an old goods shed.
