25.01.2022 Day 3 of 3 in Koo Wee Rup was an early wake up call with the turf delivery dropping off at 6am but with bacon and egg sandwich and with perfect cups of coffee from an awesome customer.. the levelling , pinebark mulch , crushed rock , paving etc to get this job done was a little bit more pleasurable to complete . Such a big back area now for the kids to play and enjoy themselves. Have a great weekend all

23.01.2022 In Tooradin again just preparing the foundation to start all the landscaping that needs to be done. Getting everything levelled and ready for the next stages which involved a truck load of top soil, then another truck, then a double truck, then another truck and by now I was saying not another truck F#%k.. and another truck etc! 23.01.2022 A quick fix on this place at Clyde, sleeper edging, levelling, A1 turf and automatic watering system to take the edge off water with the hot weather on its way.. the only thing you will have to do to keep watering the grass is to grab a beer and watch it Have a great weekend all from JDGS p.s the customer is going to finish off with some Mulch ,Pebbles and a few new plants!

23.01.2022 Last week in Officer .. front and backyard included level and turf , Torquay pebbles , sleeper boundary garden bed and plant fruit trees. The grass was amazing for this time of year

22.01.2022 Another job in Clyde which included soil filling and levelling, midnight black bark, sir Walter buffalo turf, automatic pop up irrigation system, connecting spoon drain to the storm water , treated timber pale fencing with gate, planting plants including one perfect mature Magnolia, treated sleeper beds and even painting the fence, sleepers and gate. Big shout out to these customers for making life easier with their patience, communication and just being such amazing people to deal with! b4 and afters of the job from the John Doh crew

21.01.2022 In BERWICK the last 3 days and today was the end of the start. Still heaps to complete in the next week but here what has happened so far... A beautiful merbau timber decking that has finished off beautifully. Take a look and see you all next week with the progressive and final pics of this new build. 19.01.2022 A quick one in Officer today just to rejuvenate the grass area. A quick clean, topsoil, level off and install all before lunch. The rain didn’t help much .. well for the lawn it’s great but for me not so much

19.01.2022 Today in Tooradin at Rose Garden kids Day care doing some of the outdoor renovations thats happening.... Our job was for the synthetic grass to be prepared and installed for the little kiddies to trample on. Commercial grade 40mm synthetic will absorb the daily wear and tear. Take a look b4 and after.

18.01.2022 QUICK THANKS AGAIN TO LYNDPARK GARDEN SUPPLIES! Always has the product you need plus super helpful when needed. Another job in the retirement village in Cranbourne West, 8x6 400mm paver slab ready for the shed we have to put up. Also last minute customer wanted extra with the paver slab under the clothes line.... next visit will be building the garden shed then lay artificial lawn.

17.01.2022 Today in Narre Warren South, miserable, wet, rain infested day but the job still goes on! New grass was on order

17.01.2022 The last couple of weeks in Berwick doing a landscaping job for the owner to get ready to sell. Not so much as replace everything but repair which becomes challenging to say the least! The job involved repairing the front brick wall best to our ability using existing materials, most of the rather large retaining wall out the backyard, rip out a brick wall and replace with timber, paving, mulching, toppings, pebbles, turf ( excellent for this time of year ) and a rather large clean up with skips and tip runs. Glad its over Thanks again to the John Doh Team and yet again Tara for a top effort as usual

17.01.2022 In Tooradin today we finished of a landscaping job that was already started by someone else but we needed to finish it. Includes finishing off irrigation ( water timer and pop up sprinklers ) midnight black bark, crushed rock, levelling and supply and installing turf to remaining areas. Before and after as usual

16.01.2022 This morning in the freezing cold I had to scrape off the ice to rejuvenate this deck. A weathered spotted gum deck was ready for a touch up ..... Please excuse the stain being still wet in the pics but the John doh team had a bit to do we had to keep moving but very happy with outcome ! Should repeat the process every 3 months for best results. Take a look at the difference

15.01.2022 Goodbye 2020! This job in Berwick the last couple of days will be the last landscaping job for 2020 and returning after the new year. Firstly working for this customer has been an absolute dream and some of the nicest people you could meet! The job involved new retaining walls, plants , paving , mulching , toppings , step down walkway and also contending with 34-36 degrees made it a little exhausting but we got there in the end. 13.01.2022 The last 3 days in Clyde North but it has felt like The South Pole! Ice and minus 2 is very hard to get going these days and not to mention the mud and slop we always start with but with the help of the John Doh Team we always make it through. This job involved a retaining Versa Wall Blocks with caps, sleeper garden beds, veggie box, buffalo turf ( great condition despite the time of year ) ice white pebbles, plants, letter box, level and seed nature strip and the list goes on. 13.01.2022 Hello all ... it has been a very very busy week yet again and the last 3 days have been in Berwick doing another landscaping job. Since Covid restrictions have opened back up it has been absolutely crazy busy and even though I’m really looking forward to my Xmas break the job here for the last few days I’ve enjoyed and in the next couple of weeks going back to do some work around the pool out the back. 12.01.2022 Last couple of days in Clyde the John Doh team has been working hard to change this backyard to how the customer wants it... involved a lot of levelling, sleeper garden beds and box, top soil, planting a few semi mature trees to get the planting started, bamboo screening, water feature with under ground power to the outdoor switch and some 40mm synthetic grass which looks brilliant! Customer is still going to plant some more plants to finish off and get us to come back to do an A1 merbau deck to over look this backyard. Happy gardening peeps take a look :)

10.01.2022 Today was the end of a pretty big job in Berwick. Covid didn’t help the matter having to stop and cancel all orders in between and then start up again but all is finished now The job involved front and back Merbau decking, sleeper garden beds , fix timber at bottom of fence to cover the gaps , top soils and pine bark mulch, charcoal sandstone paving, peninsula toppings , top dress existing back lawn and level better , recap the drainage, charcoal versa wall with capping, filling with top soil, fixing and securing the letter box and last but not least John Dohs A1 turf .. take a look at the changes

10.01.2022 ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Thank you for being very patient and understanding while Ive been away , as of this Tuesday I will be back into the swing of things and will get around to you all as quickly as I can to get things back under control as they should be! 09.01.2022 Venus Bay.. it’s a cursed place of work for me, it’s either 42 degrees or pouring rain and today was the rain . Never the less we are there to complete the job and that’s exactly what happened! Huge day plus heavy rain makes for a exhausted me. 09.01.2022 Back in the village! We did the paving then the shed and now the synthetic grass . What was again terrible conditions to finish off this job to try and brush in the sand was difficult to say the least. We called this job off last Monday because of the weather so today we had to bite the bullet and just finish it. Low maintenance is what they wanted and thats what they got stay warm and have a great weekend all

07.01.2022 Yesterday and today in Eliston Estate in Clyde, yesterday in appalling conditions with the relentless rain all day and having to dig this one out by hand made for a tiring day. Levelling, top soil, black bark, planting, sleeper edges, lillycan topping, securing the letter box and laying Buffalo grass on the front and nature strip. Here are the pics

07.01.2022 This one was in Clyde, Manhattan concrete retaining wall. Customer is finishing off the rest of the back fill and garden but needed the wall done first.

06.01.2022 The John Doh team was doing it tough today carting and spreading 40 cubic meters of soil to continue on with the retaining wall job from last week. The sun was out for a change which made it a bit more enjoyable.

06.01.2022 Today in Clyde..... the job today was a little different with John Doh doing the hard yards ( thats all the customer wanted ) and they will finish the rest off themselves. 05.01.2022 Day 2 of 2 in Officer trying to deal with horrific conditions yesterday in the rain which makes life extremely difficult with the mud and the mess. This job involved excavation, levelling, sleeper border, part retaining wall with a raised fire pit area, automatic watering system with pop ups and a Tuscan topping pathway. 03.01.2022 ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Its that time of year again ... Id like to thank all my wonderful customers for yet another great year who I have worked for over the past 12 months. It has been a bit of a challenging year with a few minor hold ups and set backs from almost cutting off my wrist and then on to having our beautiful little girl so a few grumpy mornings for me with little sleep but you wouldnt have noticed that but as usual everyone is so wonderful, carin...g and supportive especially this year with overwhelming interest, concerns and even a lot of gifts that Im still receiving to this day! 02.01.2022 FINALLY OUR HONEYMOON HAS STARTED...... A never ending job in Cranbourne West. Scheduled for 2-3 days ended up being 5 days and employed 2 extra people for a couple of days! No b4 shots but it was a blank canvas and followed strict instructions by the customer The job involved paving, river pebbles, mulching, garden boxes, filling garden boxes with top soil, planting a lot of plants, couple of paved slabs, a garden shed, posts and a beam for some hanging baskets etc.
